Breakfast was excellent, full English available (egg, bacon, sausage, beans, tomatoes, hash brown), or any combination, as well as choice of cereals, yoghurt, fruit juice, tea/coffee and plenty of toast with various jams/marmalade. All cooked perfectly and well presented.. Orders for breakfast taken at the table by a very polite young man called Benjaman. Angelique and Ben were very efficient, bringing out food quickly and clearing the tables promptly. Angelique made a point of speaking with guests each morning and asking if we would like anything more to eat. The whole place appeared freshly decorated, and was presented very nicely with bright, airy rooms. Reviews from previous guests mentioned the short time window for breakfast, but we found this worked fine, in fact because everyone arrived in the breakfast room around the same time it seemed to encourage guests to speak to one another. Limited time for free parking across street but free parking available 100 yards or so along the road. No curfew times, keys for main door supplied so able to come and go at whatever times suited us.
Would have appreciated complimentary toiletries (I never thought to check this when booking, I just assumed there would be some there). The rooms aren't serviced daily unless asked which suits us fine, but this meant that when we wanted extra tea/coffee/milk etc we had to ask.
