Too expensive for what is offering

- location - food - range of beverages at the bars - private beach - infinity pool - indoor pool

- the AC in the room was making a metalic noise that made it hard to sleep. We talked to the reception, they sent a technician that said the noise was from the AC pump and was normal. I didn't expected that! - the doar are probably made from paper. You can here literally everything that is going on on the hallway. If you have a room near the elevator you won't be sleeping past 7 AM because of the noise made in the hallway. - staining on the sealing.

- nice, confortable and clean rooms - hotel employees are nice and want to help all the time

- food variety - the space at the pool is really limited (number of sunbeds is too low compared to the number of hotel guests/rooms, there is no space to add more) - same issue with the tables at the beach bar

Excellent hotel for a first class stay

We booked a room with "Park view" but when we got to our room we noticed we had a upgrade and had a room with beach & sea view! This started better than we thought, we were welcomed by the manager Nicolai and he made us feel right at home and said "If you have any questions please ask me or the staff" At the reception the girls Selin, Gerigana, Ivon and Yoanna had an answer on every question we asked and their knowledge was excellent. Because my partner is a celiac we were introduced to the restaurant manager Petur and he showed her around the restaurant which food she could and could not eat (everything is nicely written down on little signs above the food, like Vegan, Gluten etc etc...) The hostess Neli and her staff escorted us to our table and already knew my partner could only have gluten free food. Sylvia is a excellent hostess and took care of us and our wishes in the restaurant, we really felt at home here. There were a la carte restaurants in the Hotel and all you had to do is reserve in advance and you could get a table, our Italian dinner was really nice and well presented, like you were in Italy! The Sauna's were good and hot, just what you expect. We can recommend this hotel to everyone, it's at the end of the boulevard so it's not so loud and you can enjoy a good nights sleep.

That's a hard one.... yes one sauna wasn't working and someone took my towel (they are free for everyone....) but was swiftly replaced by a member of staff. The infinity pool is a bit overrated but hey it's nice for a dip with a view. I really can't think of any negative aspects of this hotel.

The infinity pool is amazing!

They offer parking in another place at about 5 minutes with car, you can not park at the hotel. On top of that, you can only pay cash and the guys at the parking place speak only bulgarianz

Rooms infested with insects, stinky towels, only paid parking combined with car towing scam

The hotel is decent enough and you do have some facilities like pools, immediate access to the beach, beach bar and hotel bar, a couple of restaurants, SPA. However our trip was ruined by a few things for which the hotel does not do anything or assume responsability.

1. First day we discovered we had ants in our room, quite a few, which were climbing on the bed too. We told the staff, housekeeping came in and used a plastic refillable bottle with a sprayer (not sure what it contained), but after 2 hours the ants were back. 2. The room was sort of clean on the surface, but when you got closer to the beds and furniture the dust was thick, filled with spider webs, and just dirt lying around. Plus the towels were all smelling like they were not washed properly. They smelled like they had been left wet on floors for days. 3. But the ABSOLUTE WORST is the experience with the parking. First the hotel has extremely insuficient parking in the lot behind the hotel. They do offer an alternate spot at another place they have a few km away. In any case parking is with additional cost, you will pay extra regardless. That was not the worst issue. This was our 2nd year in a row there, so we knew we will end up paying. What the hotel DOES NOT tell you is: that the small street between the parking lot and the hotel itself, which is simply an access pathway for them and the hotel next to them (not an actual street) is subject to car towing. To be clear: I don't mean parking ON THE STREET. But on the right side there is a area marked where cars dropping off or picking up bags or people can temporarily station right next to the hotel entrance. When we left we had to bring our bags ourselves so we needed to take three trips down from the room. On the last one as we were also checking out our car was towed, although it was NOT on the street, but in front of the hotel. NOONE from the hotel told us, called us or in anyway let us know that might/or will happen. Also there were a bunch of cars parked there alongside the hotel just like ours, including the hotel's mini van but they were not touched. We ended up paying 90 leva (50 EUR to pick up our car from a few more km away with ALL our bags and valuables).

Good hotel for families but tasteless food and the cheap drinks

I did like that they have great facilities for spa, inside pool, great view from the infinity pool (but the water was too cold), sauna, restaurant on the beach and at the each pool as well.

The food didn't have taste it was plane, you could find something to eat at breakfast but at lunch and dinner almost everything was bad, even in the a la carte restaurants that they have you would expect the food to be better.. but it wasn't. The drinks were bad, you could easily taste that are the cheapest drinks but if you paid extra 20 leva and went to the Sky Bar the drinks were made different, better. To bad that you have to pay extra at an all-inclusive, instead of increasing the price for the difference but offering better quality food and drinks.

Exceptional

The hotel is managed flawless. The employees are wonderful, professional, they do anything to make your staying there a beautiful experience. The rooms are very clean, the food is varied and really tasty and I cannot find anything bad throughout our staying there. I would like to thank them for the wonderful job they make and I wish them to keep up the high standards in the future.

Best hotel in Bulgaria!

The Best hotels in Bulgaria are Grifid resorts. We were here for 3. Time! And it was fantastic! Great staff, all in restaurant, best burgers on the Beach in Beach bar! Great coffee!

An excelent place to stay at the Golden Sands

This property is exceptional. It is very conveniently located on the beach, it has both an indoor pool, as well as an outdoor infinity pool. The food was fantastic. The rooms are large and very clean. Parking is available on site. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Very nice and clean hotel with SPA facilities, perfect for familiy holiday. Location is great, far enaugh from the city center rush , still easy to be reached by foot or touristic trains crossing the area. Room was big and welcoming, with cleaning done every day . We stayed on 7th floor so we enjoyed a great sea view. Indoor pool was perfectly heated. Food was ok, could feel a bit repetitive if you stay longer days, but overall ok with a lot of options to choose from.

Very good

Stayed in Concept Room for 3 nights: - The rooms and balcony were big. The seaside view was great! - Comfortable bed and couch. - Good shower water pressure. - Good food and plenty of things to choose from. - Toilet paper, water, towels were changed everyday. The cleaning crew did a great job! - The pools, jacuzzi and the sunbeds were cozy. - The Skybar was great, relaxing.

- Staff didn’t speak English (2-3 exceptions). - Weird sewage smell in bathroom. - AC was stuck on heat mode, although outside was not very cold and at night it was quite hot. Couldn’t change this, although I’ve asked. - No bug net on balcony door.

A good option - extra season

We've been on Easter and we liked the clean rooms, good food, nice swimming pool indoor. The animation in the first night was nice for kids and all the craft activities. Overall, we enjoyed our Easter holiday there.

The common areas are under capacity for full season: terrace, restaurant, lobby, even beach. The staff in the reception was not trained properly and the animation and shows for 2 out of 3 nights was not proper for the audience: 90% romanians families with kids.

Pro - very spacious and well equiped gym - good food - spacious and clean room - free parking

Cons - the receptionists did not know about the late check-out process. One was unaware about the process at all, one did not know the exact fee so we had to recheck three times until we got to pay 39 bgn. - cocktails MUST be improved - rooms are not phonic isolated. You can hear the other one from the other room sneezing - very good for families, for couples is not such a relaxing place

the drinks AI has to be improved or at least offer options for drinkable PAYED alcoholic drinks! also the desserts are way to sweet and tasting all the same

Very nice but a bit cold in the swimmimg area

Location next to the sea, good fitness and lounge area, great restaurant menu and the spa area with saunas and 2 pool.

Temperature at the pool area was low so not very confortable to stay out of the water on the sunbeds and relax in winter time. Also the water in the big pool was a bit cold until several people told them and then it was ok

Tasteful relaxation, an excellent choice

This hotel is perfect for relaxation. I am extremely happy I choose it for our holiday. It was really what I needed. Great spa, great food, great design, great rooms and lovely people. I recommend Grifid Encanto with all my heart. 😇
