Sunset View Club

I liked the location near San Blas and the resort is spotlessly clean and quiet.

The last day we had a late flight and we were wanting just to go for breakfast and lunch and sit by the pool as we didn't want to go far with all the passports etc. The receptionist told us we needed to pay 20 euros to sit by the pool as we had now checked out. I was really disappointed at this, I thought this was expensive but the receptionist told me it wasn't. I told the receptionist that our flight arriving was delayed and so we could not use the pool on our first day and lots of other days we were travelling so we're not at the resort during the day at all. I understand if the pool area was busy but as we checked out the pool area was empty and It did change our opinion about this resort, which I had previously liked. We have stayed at numerous resorts who do not have this policy and would not stay here again due to this. It was not only the 'rule' but the delivery that was off putting. We then booked showers to take before our flight and were told it would be 30 minutes for all 3 of us... it was quite stressful as that was just 10 minutes for each of us to have a shower and dry our hair. I don't ask for much from a resort as I am easy going in general and don't look for issues, especially on holiday so had given the resort a 5/5 originally when asked mid week on text...however at the end when checking out and being told we now could not sit by the pool ... I would have to say I will not return sadly, far from the 'Welcome Home' ethos.

Everything was great from the apartment to the pool and restaurant on site

The only thing that I was a bit disappointed was I had to pull out and make the sofa bed up, which was quite difficult to do.!! they could of gave an option and asked if I wanted the sofa bed already made up as it was just me and the kids

First class accommodation, staff from reception, the pool bar and room service were fantastic.
