I asked for sheets rather than duvets and they managed to do this.

The staff were just so lovely and couldn’t do enough for you. Really made our stay. Hotel and setting were stunning. Really liked the atmosphere in the bar and restaurant. Would definitely stay here again
Suggested improvements - we had a ground floor room and would have been better if had some blinds or voiles on the window for privacy. Also prefer more choice re hospitality tray ie hot chocolate sachets.

The whole stay was brilliant from the moment we arrived. Everything was immaculate, from cleanliness, facilities, friendliness of the staff, including one of the gardeners whose passion for his work shone through. Location was ideal for our plans, Beamish Museum, Kynren and Durham. Will definitely return.

The bed room set out the venue the view
The bed sheets weren’t cleaned but by time I got to my room it was late. No ac or refrigerator
