Magnifique hôtel pour commencer notre voyage

Cet hôtel est dans le style typique balinais, nous avions le bungalow 1, nous étions 3 avec notre fille, il était juste magnifique, très spacieux, baignoire intérieur et douche extérieur ainsi qu’un petit salon d’extérieur…. Le bonheur

Si vraiment je dois trouver un point négatif c’est qu’il n’y pas de transat au bord de la piscine.

Loved it. I’ll definitely be back.

Everything. This hotel is exceptional. I didn’t want to leave. The staff were all friendly, professional and prompt and looked after even the tiniest of details. The pool is lovely and relaxing and the beach in front is beautifully maintained. Sanur is a much quieter area which I really liked.

This is the most minor of criticisms, but the villa I booked said it was water views from upstairs. I would say this is a little overstated and water “glimpses” is more accurate. There is a lot of vegetation in the garden which, while lovely and affording privacy, blocks most of the water views. Only a minor issue though because I spent so little time in the villa, and you need only go steps outside to see the view

Lovely hotel with fabulous staff and food. Besutiful gardens.

The staff and management were very helpful and lovely as we got covid on day one of our visit so had to isolate most of our stay!

We traveled for a month in Southeast Asia, and this was our favorite hotel!

Dinners on the beach were fantastic, and the room was excellent. We loved the breakfasts, too, and the bar was very comfortable for drinks in the evening!

Perfect! Will definitely return again and again.

Perfect location of excellent restaurant , under the shady banyan trees. Just beautiful in all ways. Loved the evening ambience of cocktails and dinner at sunset on the beach.

More than paridise!

The place is magic! The staff is so kind and remembered everything. My boyfriend has a allergic for apple and advocado. We told one staff member on our day of arrival. The second day we decided to have diner in the outside restaurant, another staff member helped us again very well and surprise! She said at the end of our order "and sir, you have a allergic for apple and advocado" This is really the most great hospitality you can offer and I have ever seen! Actually next week we should stay somewhere else at the island but we have decided to cancel this trip and booked again Tandjung Sari for next week! Happy to come back next week!

Real GEM

Everything! From one small detail to hundreds of details with rich history. Location is 15-20 minutes from Airport. Very calm place, with lots of traditional Bali architecture things. Statues, doors, furniture. Rooms are very clean and authentic. Staff is polite. The beach is very clean. If you want to see real Bali resort then U must visit this place - the first ever hotel resort in Bali. Trust me, Bulgari, Kempinski hotels are very booring and nothing special.

Great village feel.

The village feel. great little resort.

Initially our villa as next to building works they were doing. Not cool, they should not try to put people in that villa. We were moved next day when another villa came available.

normally get a king size bed at Tandjung Sari, but on this occasion the bed had a smaller mattress

food, premises, garden, natural setting style (very relaxing), beach with palms, cleaning, staff, privacy, plus style (vintage touch) and clientelle

it might have been the natural grass roof that gives out a bit of smell inside maybe because of rainy season

love the location near the sea so you can eat outside under the large trees. great food and delightful staff

smoking is still allowed in the outside area which is very unpleasant for guests who dont smoke. the mattress is a little hard.

Exceptional

Exceptional in every way. Beautiful, traditional, old world Bali charm done with sophistication and first class service. Tranquil, set amongst lush gardens, the bungalows and bales are maintained to the highest standard. Hygiene is impeccable. Everything is done with an artful, gentle touch. The staff are wonderful. 10/10.

Tandjung has some of the “soul” of the old Bali which is rapidly being destroyed. Cannot believe that there appears to be little control on developments across the island. All nice comments about Tandjung are correct and deserved.

Very friendly staff, delicious breakfast which you can enjoy directly on the beach. The bungalow is private, surrounded by walls and plants, it even has a small garden! We took dinners each days here because of the outstanding cuisine they have. Best choice if you are looking for tranquility! Also they have a small souvenir shop just behind the reception!

A tranquil and relaxing stay

Such a beautiful place. It provides a tranquil traditional Balinese atmosphere. Bungalows are all extremely private with great private gardens. The staff were just lovely. We would definitely return.

We enjoyed every part of our stay here.

Dreamy, olde worlde elegance. Perfect entry into Bali. Loved everything.

Loved the serenity and the easy flow, the sense of history and the elegant, understated style of this place. Consistency of quality in all aspects. We were in a Village Bungalow, food, beach, pool - all excellent :)
