Pleasant and affordable stay in Rome

Very nice and quiet neighborhood. The room was clean and neat. The hotel is at a convenient location, close to a train station, bus stop, nice breakfast and eating places, and at walking distance of Colosseum and Roman Forum.

A bit unconfortable to have always someone in the reception who must open the external door for you when you go in and out.

Good value for money in the city centre, but a bit spartan.

Family-managed hotel. Friendly staff. Great value for money. Excellent position in the city of Rome.

Nice hotel at convenient price, with some space for improvement in one of the hotel staff (rude).

The location in the Aventino is great. A very quite area and Metro station at 10 mins walking. It is less than 20 mins walking from Ostiense train station, from where you can get a train ti Fiumicino Airport at a cheaper cost than from Termini Station (8€ vs 14€). The rooms are well maintained and the bathroom with shower seem recently renovated. All the persons in charge were very kind....but one.

The person in charge was very quite rude when we kindly signaled that the floor was not cleaned. He initially explained the reason for it (some maintenance apparently just took place), yet the room was delivered to us in that conditions. In my mind this is the responsibility of the manager, who in turned told me (actually yelling at me...) that the cleaning person will be fired. Again in a very impolite manner I was told to change the room on the spot, but I could not as I was about to get out. Ob my way out that night he also used Rome dialect to address me with offensive wording "...ma vedi 'n po' d'ann'attene....". Apologies for any spelling mistake, but I am not from Rome. In short, it's a very badly way of sending a person away (very soft translation!). Very unexpected indeed from a hotel manager under the circumstance of a guest who has simply identified a legit issue about the cleanliness status of the room. Fortunately, at our return the person in charge was changed, and we accepted the offer to change the room, without any additional drama. This accident should have simply avoided by kindly interacting with us in the first instance, instead of yelling against us and the alleged responsibility of the cleaning person. A small closure: the double bed described as "large" has instead kind of queen bed size. No problem for many couples, but be ready in case you are used to king size beds.

the staff was helpful with directions. the location is accessible to everything but not touristy at all - it felt like we were staying in a real neighborhood

the walls are very think - you can hear everything in neighboring rooms. the bed isn’t too comfortable.

Everything is perfect

One night there was scream and fighting for more than two hours , i think they should solved the issue quickly as i couldn't sleep and had to put my headphones to not hear them

Lovely area, though a bit far away from city center

Thin walls, you could here the neighbours in the corridor. No air condition. A bit unmodern, no renovation done for a while, but ok for that price.

Very clean and comfortable

My room was super clean and comfortable. Because it was on the ground floor, the room was very cool although I stayed there during a hot August. The staff was very nice and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

The walls are thin and it gets noisy sometimes. And they only serve hot drinks during breakfast, not any other time of the day. Some hot beverages during the day could be nice but wasn’t a very big problem for me.

In august there was so hot and in the room there was only cooling Fan, but shold be air conditioner

Good value for money in Rome! . We payed 7 euros each for a good breakfast, wich is a good price. The rooms are a bit old-fashioned but the badrooms are new and everithing is really cleaned!

You have to walk a bit for the main atractions, but the neighborhood is really bautiful

Really nice location in one of the iconic neighbourhood of Rome!

The location is ideal, especially because Trastavere is a picturesque neighbourhood. The hotel is well maintained. The staff were really helpful. The bathroom are spacious enough. The bed was confortable for the nights I stayed over there.

Everything was great! It was perfect for the price. I didn’t try the breakfast, which was 7 euros extra.

No beverages in room or glasses. Gave us glasses though when we asked.
