This was an excellent B&B, located close to the sea and a downhill walk to the beach. There is a good pub very close by and also a scenic golf course. You can get into Whitby by bus and the stops are about 5/10 minute walk. In town you can get on the open top bus and get a 24 hour ticket. This takes you on a good tour and importantly takes you up to the Abbey, so avoiding excessive parking fees. Superb fish and chips at Trenchers, not to be missed!
Our room was excellent with good views of the sea and also looking towards the pub and golf course. Breakfast was excellent and parking on site. We had stairs up to our room.
If you are a walker then you can apparently follow the coastal walk into Whitby, which were told would take about 20/25 minutes.

The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was really good and having parking space was a bonus. The location was perfect for what we wanted to do.

Door opening into bathroom would be better with door handle on right. Everything else excellent

The whole experience was excellent. Very friendly and accommodating hosts. Room was impeccable. Breakfast was one of the best I've ever had.
