The property is very well presented, immaculately clean and very comfortable with quality furnishings and bedding, v comfortable mattress giving a great nights sleep and a really good wet room with a power shower. The breakfast was exceptional, so much choice, beautifully cooked and there was homemade cinnamon and chocolate bread one morning that I finished off with after a hearty full English breakfast and banana bread the second morning which I somehow found room for - delicious. The owners were so helpful and friendly, giving us tips on some of the walks we had planned. We found the location was just perfect for us as we just wanted to park our car there - good on site parking and also plentiful road parking with a visitors permit provided by the property - and do some walking and potentially use local transport. It was a 10 minute easy walk into Whitby and it was easy to access part of the Cleveland way from the top of Whitby Abbey steps. We walked to Robin Hoods Bay from there which was a good 3 hrs and steep in parts but the views were amazing. We bussed it back which was easy as there was a regular service. The next day we walked from the property to Sandsend , a pleasant easy walk either along the beach - check the tides - or along the coast path. We saw some dolphins whilst walking there. From there we got a bus into Staithes - well worth visiting - and then did the same in reverse. It was so relaxing being able to leave the car at the property and have all these easy ways to explore on the doorstep. We would definitely return to this property as there are so many other walks we could do from here and the property was an extremely comfortable base from where to start with fantastic food and friendly hosts.
To be honest there wasn’t anything we didn’t like.

The hosts were friendly and helpful.
Great location.
Everything felt very clean and fresh throughout the house, from the dining room to the bedroom everything was very nice.
Comfy bed, decent mattress and pillows, nice bedding.
Fluffy, absorbent, good sized towels. Very pleasant smelling bathroom soap, shampoo, conditioner and air freshener for the bathroom.
The breakfasts were superb, great selection, quality produce, beautifully cooked and presented. Great for very big appetites.

The breakfast was outstanding.Beautifully presented..Lots of choices, freshly presented fruit, croissants, specials besides a lovely fully cooked English breakfast.
It was a great location within walking distances of everything.
There was nothing that i didnt like.
