The best host I’ve ever experienced!
Ida, the mother of the owner Sandra, welcomed me warmly. She is a lovely and warm-hearted lady, even though she doesn’t speak English. She kindly gave me fresh eggs and delicious, fruity oranges. Before I left, she even gave me a postcard—what a thoughtful gesture!
She and her husband were also very helpful when I had a problem with my bicycle—they immediately gave me a helping hand.
The apartment is spacious and has a well-equipped kitchen. It’s located in a quiet, rural village with many beautiful hiking trails nearby.

Location was perfect. After spending much time elsewhere in Sao Miguel which was full of people and really hectic, this was pleasant surprise with plenty to see and experience surrounded by beautiful nature. Service was heart warming and felt really personalized. Accommodation was clean and roomy.
