Great amenities, including the hot tub and private yard with outdoor furniture. I loved staying in the casita. We heated up a Whole Foods Thanksgiving dinner, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Great touches, like all the fixings for coffee, and even a coffee maker in the Casita, nice bathroom products, good towels. The downside is being able to hear the other tenants. They were quiet at night though. I’d definitely stay again.

Overall, we enjoyed the house very much. Good location, nice kitchen. The living room couches were very stained and could use updating. One major drawback: outside, behind the wall of the master bedroom, the hvac unit would cycle on and off all night long. It was loud and actually vibrated the wall, making sleep in there difficult. It was a major detraction and would make us not consider renting this house again.

Really enjoyed it. Had trouble figuring the shower out. You pull it forward. (We’re idiots) Clean. Easy access. Convenient location. Breakfast at Garrett’s was great. IHOP you can walk to. 7/11 and gas stations close. Used the hot tub. Did laundry. Watched Prime. Santa Barbara is beautiful.

The property exceeded my expectations! Pictures do not do it justice. We were in town for my daughter's wedding. Staying with us was another daughter/son-in-law and my 86 year old mil who enjoyed the quietness of the casita. 5 people total and we never felt cramped. Beautiful kitchen with everything you need, including hostess items like coffee/tea and a much appreciated bottle of wine. The host checked in with us on day 2 via text to see if we needed anything. Modern, clean and bright. I would rebook in a heartbeat.

We were in SB for a wedding and this place was just perfect for our family. Our 90 year old matriarch stayed in the back casita and the rest of us enjoyed the main house. Love the set up--french doors to backyard. Open concept main area. Bathroom is super nice. The owner even dropped by a steamer iron at our request. They were very accommodating. Thank you!

4 of us celebrating our 60th bday. We had so much fun. House is not super close to the State Street shops but we took Uber everywhere anyways. House is so cute. Jacuzzi was a life saver. Kitchen was well equipped, lots of towels including beach towels. Thank you for providing such a wonderful place for us to celebrate our bdays!’

6 family members down for a 4 day wedding celebration in Monticello. Everything was great. Although State St was a block or 2 away, it a bit far up State St from the bar action (maybe 15 blocks) but that was fine. A short Uber ride. Would defiantly stay again

Rachael's place was a great home base for our trip to Santa Barbara! As pictured, the real highlight was the casita, which was super nice and a great place for grandma who came along with our family of four. Recommended!

We absolutely the home. It was so clean with a beautiful layout, spacious kitchen, and large bedrooms. The backyard was so inviting! We didn’t want to leave and definitely will return.

The house is so close to State Street and was withing walking distance to my nieces Wedding at Villa and Vine. The backyard is darling, and we all enjoyed picking an orange from the tree! The home is clean, up to date and very well kept. Our host Rachael is attentive to details and stayed in touch to ensure our stay was perfect - and it was. We did not realize the third bedroom was its own Cassida which was perfect for some additional privacy. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this home.

This home was part of a duplex. The casita was actually on the bottom floor of a third building sharing the same backyard. Not what I was expecting. The property is clean and close to town.

This house is a perfect Santa Barbara location. Quiet neighborhood and easy to get to anything. Less than a mile to many restaurants, shops, public market, etc. Easy access to freeway if you want to head out and explore other areas. Parking is on street only, and we always could find a spot very close to the house. The kitchen is all new and very nice. Rest of house OK, but could use a little updating in living space. Several plants in the house were all dead which was distracting and unappealing. Very small master bedroom and very small bathroom to share with the other main house bedroom. The 3rd bedroom and bathroom are in a separate building. House needs a little attention but in spite of that I still recommend it because it is OK, and the neighborhood and location are fantastic for exploring Santa Barbara. Host was very responsive and helpful.

The house is just as described in the listing, super clean and cozy. Location is great, just a short ride (less than 10 mins) to town. The small private backyard and hot tub were huge pluses. Rachael was very responsive throughout the stay. Would definitely come back!

This place was a very pleasant surprise. Super clean, high-end linens and toiletries, well-stocked, everything works well. Easy walking to everything. Felt like a little oasis sitting in the hot tub under an orange tree. Easy communication with the owner. You won’t be disappointed with this one.

This house was perfect for our needs. We were in town to attend a performance at The Lobero Theater (very close). We enjoyed 2 dinners out in downtown (very close). The house was great for relaxing in between outings. The backyard and jacuzzi were great. Kitchen fully stocked & easy to use.

The house was absolutely perfect for our group of girlfriends. Everyone had her own space, and the common areas have plenty of room for everyone to gather. We especially loved the outdoor space and hot tub. The house is also very well equipped with supplies and plenty of storage for everyone’s luggage.

Thank you for providing a lovely home away from home! The beds were super comfortable and the home was immaculate and well stocked with everything you could possibly need. Our adult son was very impressed with the number of flat screen tvs (living room, all bedrooms) and access to endless channels. Communication with the owner was excellent, really appreciated her checking in with us to make sure we had everything we needed - great hospitality! Thank you❣️

The home was perfect in every way. Communication with host was very easy. She was extremely responsive and truly cared about our comfort and satisfaction with her lovely home. Unfortunately it rained for most of our stay so we were especially grateful to have a warm, cozy home to retreat to. The kitchen was very well equipped. My sister in law and myself are both foodies and we did alot of cooking. The book that was in the home was very informative and had great suggestions. We went to the recommended bakery and tried out the recommended croissants - - they were heavenly. Thank you so much for such a wonderful stay.

We loved staying at this house. Every detail was perfect - perfect style, perfect location, perfect comfort, perfectly stocked. We have stayed in many vacation homes throughout the country. Rachel is a great host. She was easy to communicate with, very responsive and the house was incredibly well stocked. She thought of everything from snacks and drinks to laundry detergent. We did not have to buy anything for our stay except food. The lovely bottle of wine was also much appreciated. The fact that we were not asked to do any cleaning before leaving was great. The thing that guests should know before booking is that the home is very small, as it is one unit in a tri-plex building. Parking is on the street and the home is located in residential neighborhood that is NOT within walking distance of the water or downtown. There is a coffee shop within walking distance but no restaurants. One of the bedrooms and one bathroom are in separate building in the backyard which does not have air conditioning.

This was a great house to stay in to be close to downtown SB and for the day trip over to Channel Islands. The house was clean and well maintained. Kitchen fully stocked. Everything was comfortable. Just a note that although the backyard is not shared, you may hear the neighbors over the fence if you sleep in the bungalow/back house. It was not a problem at all for us though. The jacuzzi was also wonderful! I would recommend staying here for a lovely SB getaway.

The house was perfect! Great location near enough to Downtown so we could walk to the park, restaurants, and bars. A few cute spots nearby too and a 10-minute drive to the beach. House was in perfect condition. I wish we were staying longer so that we could cook in the kitchen and hang out in the yard more. Would absolutely stay here again!
