LOCATION The home's position is enviable; this holiday home is located in the heart of the Ancient Rome very close to the most important monument of the Eternal City, the Colosseum also known as the Flavian Amphitheater, and the Roman Forum. From here you can easily reach the other areas of the historical centre on foot or by bus and tram that conveniently stop very close to the building, or if you prefer, by Metro/Subway (line A and B) at the nearby stops of 'Manzoni' or 'Colosseo’. So, it very simple to get to the Vatican and St. Peter’s, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Navona Square, etc. The neighborhood is full of local restaurants and pizzerias. A Supermarket open 24 hours and 7 days is just 5 minutes far from the apartment. A small convenient store open till midnight is located in the building. AMENITIES WI-FI internet high speed Access, Satellite TV (movies, sports, news all in English and other foreign languages) in each room, air conditioning, safe, telephone, washing machine, Clothes dryer, dishwasher, microwave, baby crib, high chair, hairdryer, bed and bath linen, etc. are provided free-of-charge. 6 family members stayed here after our Mediterranean cruise. All were in agreement that this VRBO was as advertised. Great location and easy walking distance to the sites. This apartment was perfect for the 7 of us, close/walking distance to most places or an easy scooter ride. So close to historic sites but with a feel of local living. Paolo was fabulous in his communication, assistance with transit and recommendations for everything we needed! We were only here for a couple days due to a family wedding, and we had a fabulous time. Only wish we could have stayed longer!

Our small group (4 over 60-year olds) just finished a truly wonderful stay in Paolo’s wonderful apartment. The location of the property couldn’t be more perfect-within easy (10 minutes) walking distance of the Colosseum but situated in a quiet neighbourhood. The apartment was exactly as advertised-perfectly clean with much appreciated air conditioning and elevator. Our communication with Paolo was flawless-he provided a list of recommended restaurants (Li Rioni Pizzeria was flat out amazing) and arranged affordable transport from the airport and to the train station. Our communication with Paolo was superb-he answered every message quickly to our complete satisfaction. I would unhesitatingly recommend Paolo’s apartment to anyone who is interested in visiting Rome.

This property is in an excellent location and we had an awesome experience. The property had everything we needed and was all set up and clean when we got there. We wanted a common room for my family of 6 and this kitchen area provided that!

We had a fabulous time in Rome and Paolo’s apartment was perfect for our group of 7. Location so great and easy to navigate. Paolo was very helpful, even when one of our bags was lost on the flight over, and he gave a very thorough list of nearby restaurants, groceries, etc. Would definitely recommend.

Our first time in Rome so we wanted to see it all and this was the ideal location. We did early breakfasts at the apartment to fuel full days of sightseeing. Good supermarket steps away and a short walk to the Colliseum. Close by subway stop gave us quick access to everything. Lots of good restaurants nearby with excellent suggestions from Paolo. Oh and we saw it all in Rome.

Paolo was a great host and the apartment was all that was advertised. It was quiet and close to most of the historical places we wanted to visit. Very handy! Basic pantry supplies and coffee were provided. Paolo was helpful multiple times in giving advise for local places.

Apartment was true to listing. Updated Apartment in old building. We were able to walk to the coliseum and restaurants near there, Coffee shops and markets were very close. My family and I enjoyed our stay there. I would stay there again.

If we could have given more stars we would have. Paolo made everything easy from getting to and from the property to getting around the area, and finding places to eat. Paolo answered all of our questions and gave some excellent recommendations. The apartment was in walking distance to some local attractions and near stops of tour buses. Everything match the listing.

Wonderful, Clean, Quiet and close to Colosseum and bus/metro. This was a perfect location with 3 kings bedrooms so everyone had a bed. Hard to find an apartment with enough beds for my family but this was perfect ( they divided one of the beds into two singles). The small kitchen/living area was nice for a quick breakfast as we ate out every lunch and dinner enjoying the food! It was nice to have 2 bathrooms, esp when someone was in the shower. Even though we were not far from the colosseum it was super quiet at night. We slept with the windows open and couldn't believe how quiet it was. Not even road noise. It was easy to get to the metro or buses to site see and explore. Paolo was helpful to arrange airport shuttle for our family and was super kind to mail me a package when I forgot something at the apartment upon check out.

We had an amazing time at this property. We were in Rome for a few days ans stayed at this flat. It was a girls trip so the big bedrooms and two modern bathrooms really made the place feel large and comfortable. The location was amazing. Step out the front door, look right, bam the Colosseum is within view. We ended up getting the multi day double decker tour ticket and just used the Colosseum stop as our public transport around the city. The recommendations from the property manager were also amazing. We didn't cook but the kitchen was super cute, clean, and had a lot of tools. We loved being able to open the bedroom windows at night and enjoy the fall breeze. The place is historical but modern and we had a wonderful time there.

The apartment is in very good shape, spacious, with excellent equipment and superb cleanliness. The location is wonderful. Parking facilities and one block from the bus and three blocks from the subway. Paolo is a helpful and efficient host.
It is normal to get an old building in Rome, however the apartment is in an ugly building, and because the apartment had a view inside, Its overlooking the other dirty and ugly apartments.

The apartment is very large, clean and spacious. We were 8 people and there was a great space for all of us. I really liked its proximity to the Colosseum. There is wifi in the apartment and the most important thing for us was the fact that there is an air conditioner in every room. We traveled in August and it was hot outside and it was great to return from a trip outside to an air-conditioned apartment.

This apartment was perfect for our family of 5. The kids are all older teenagers so everyone needed their own beds- perfecto! There was enough room for us all to spread out. The air conditioner (definitely a must in July) worked great. When you walk outside you can see the Colosseum! What a great location! Walking 10 minutes in either direction will get you to Metro lines A or B. If you need a train for longer distances, the property is only 2 metro stops away from Termini Station. The property was clean and exactly as pictured.

Great Roma Accomodation
Our host was great. Everything was professional with clear communication. We got in late (after midnight) and he was accomodating. He met us at the apartment and helped us get settled in with explainations on how everything worked.
The apartment was perfect with 2 picky teens. Huge beds that were comfortable. Its summer and hot, so AC was nice. My only suggestion would be an extra blanket and pillow per bedroom.
We didn't do a lot of cooking but having cups and a fridge was great. The washing machine was great to have but despite our host explaining it to us, it beat us. 🙂 But we did eventually get clean clothes.
The two bathrooms were brilliant with teens. In all the apartment was perfect for our nerds.
Location was amazing. As you exit the building and turn right, a few steps in and you realize you have the collusium in view. Restaurants and cafés dotted around the area. We enjoyed late night walks around the neighborhood. Our favorite place to get a drink, and one of our favorites for food, was The Roof Top.

The 2 showers were extremely convenient and a true luxury.We had planned to walk from the train station, but in the end Paolo booked us a van, which was cheaper than the Leonardo da Vinci Express, and certainly more convenient after an overseas flight. And really, what says Rome more than walking out the front door and seeing the Colosseum? Colosseum was a 4 minute walk; San Clemente 2; the Forum/Trajan’s column /Victor Emmanuel monument 10 minutes.If you want to go to the hoards of tourists, walking up to the Piazza Navona and the Pantheon is about 20-25 minutes of easy, beautiful, fun Rome walking! If you get tired you can always stop for an espresso or a gelato! The Vatican is only a few metro stops away. There is a Carrefour down by the Colosseum, so grocery shopping was great and easy.We will come back to Rome and hope that we can stay here again!!

Had a great 3 night stay here. Fantastic location with the Colosseum at the bottom of the road! Many places to eat nearby and both smaller and a larger shop/ supermarket nearby.
Tram stop outside if required however we found most places within walking distance.

We arrived in Rome very late, but Paolo had arranged a driver to meet my family of 5 at the airport and he met us at the apartment even though it was after midnight. He explained all details, made suggestions for dining and getting around. The apartment is just down the street from the Colosseum and just around the corner from many shops, restaurants and a supermarket. Easy walk to many things! We stayed on the 4th floor, and although we didn’t always use it, there’s an elevator! Everything worked, the showers were good, the air conditioners worked well. He gave us wonderful advice about nearby restaurants, some of which we tried and were very pleased. Most importantly, he made us feel like we were at home.Regarding the apartment location, well, you just cannot beat San Giovanni. A 7 minute stroll to the Colisseum and nearby metro station, and very close to other prime historical attractions. There’s a Carre Four Express Store about 5-10 minutes away, very convenient for grocery shopping.The apartment is in the 4th floor, reached by stairs or by a small elevator, a major plus in Europe. It was very spacious for our family of 6, comfortably distributed in 3 bedrooms. The kitchen is well equipped. A/C runs very well, a blessing in the context of a hot Roman summer.I strongly recommend this property and Paolo. We would love to come back here when in Rome. Thank you, Paolo!

The apartment was perfect for our family of 8. 8 minute walk to the coliseum, great pizza around the corner, groceries and shops nearby. Paolo was a great host and showed us places to go and helped us find free parking nearby. Don't try to do laundry and take a shower! No real living room, but good kitchen and roomy bedrooms. I would definitely stay here again.

Very clean, within a block and a half from the Coliseum. Paolo was great, he arranged our pick from airport, gave us terrific suggestions and recommendations. His apartment was so comfortable, showers were fantastic, we had everything we needed to cook for a family of seven. They are restaurants, coffee shops and groceries store near by.
