Location is great: just in front of Lake Argentina with long promenade along the lake. I am a wildlife photographer, there are some species of birds to photograph right there. I like spa area. Stuff was very helpful

The property is beautiful and has lots of amenities and a great couple restaurants.
Most of your trip to El Calafate are spent on day long tours and there’s really not much point in spending the price point this hotel is at what you’re in Patagonia to be outside all day. Other than that the hotel is perfectly nice and was a great stay.

The rooms are big and the beds are big too, the view over the lake is lovely.
Beds are big but a little on the hard side. Overall the quality of everything just isn't an international 5 star standard - towels are old, furnishings are basic, staff are not friendly....
They had closed the restaurant but offered the menu in the bar, there is no kids menu here.
There were lots of stay dogs hanging around, one tried to bite my daughter (playfully, but still).
Lots of people said this is the best hotel in Calafate, perhaps it is, but I'm surprised that an expensive tourist resort doesn't have more luxurious accommodation.
