We loved how clean and spatious our room was. The king size bed was very comfortable with 4 poofy pillows. There was lots of storage for our luggage/bags/clothes. Nice bathroom were great storage for our toiletries and the towels were large and of great quality! We also liked having water and other drinks in the fridge for our use. Location is close to all main attractions and restaurants. The hotel host gave us a map of Madrid outlining great areas to visit within walking distance.
Upon arrival, during check-in, We did not like that the host asked us to leave a tip for the hotel. We were tired from travelling from Malaga on train and metro and then we’re asked to tip them? I’ve never experienced that at a hotel before.

The hotel itself is very nice, and the staff at reception were excellent. They were attentive, professional, and helpful throughout the stay. The location is also a strong point, very convenient for getting around Madrid.
The first room we were given had a fully transparent bathroom door, which offered no privacy and was not comfortable at all. After requesting a change, we were moved to a much smaller room that felt very cramped. The bathroom in the second room was better, but the door did not have a lock. Cleanliness was an issue, as both rooms were noticeably dusty. We also experienced problems with the air conditioning, as it fluctuated constantly and did not cool properly. Although staff came to check it, the issue was not handled efficiently, and the technician was rude. Breakfast was underwhelming, with limited variety.
