Comfortable and luxurious. Would book again.

Rooms were really clean and spacious. Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly.

The breakfast was overpriced and the hot meal I was served was cold. It was clearly pre-cooked, kept under a heat lamp and then served up when ordered.

Exceptional view with attentive staff

We were upgraded on arrival to the suite and the view was exceptional. The staff very friendly and welcoming.

Great views and helpful staff

We couldn’t work out how to empty the spa in our bathroom and the bathroom sink wasn’t emptying the water so it kept filling up.

Most convenient location, and a lovely hotel.

Location was excellent. We had a lovely room with a nice view of the Harbour and Opera House Bed was very comfortable View and food from the restaurant

Excellent value for money.

The staff were exceptional. The facilities clean. Beds comfy. View from the room one in a million. Spa treatments glorious. Food and cocktails excellent.

Superb

First time ever at an hotel to be asked are you here for any special occassion and to then be treated to a little cake, which was delicious was exceptional. The staff member at checkin was so polite and professional, such a delight to deal with. The room was much bigger than expected and the view gorgeous. Bed and pillows were so comfy. Only fault I do have is we did not have longer to spend here !

I did not like the fact the Blu bar closed at 10pm, given it was weekend. We had function booked and finish time did not allow bring partner to view this delight. This was only dissappointment not being able to view at night from there, however we took in the fab view while we enjoyed a delicious brekkie next morning.

Over-rated. Should have stayed at Four Seasons just behind the Sheraton - great bar, well laid out.

Location is good/convenient, though be prepared to walk steep stairs and roads just to get a coffee.

The description, and pictures on Booking.com were misleading compared to the actual room. The pictures showed modern decor rooms, ours was old and tired. A friends room had an espresso coffee machine, ours did NOT. This is standard in hotel rooms at that price elsewhere and even at lower priced hotels.

Had a routine power outage which wasn’t announced until less than 24hrs notice.

One night stay never to be repeated

Access on foot with suitcase on route from the Skytrain to the hotel foyer is challenging due to the steep footpaths & stairs. Lounge suites in the foyer were badly stained. House guest access to the bar on level 36 was abruptly declined due to a private function. Maintenance had to be called to get water restored to the bathroom hand basin. Service poor and cost of the drinks excessive in level 36 scenic bar

It was perched on a hill and walking up that hill was hard for some in our party (very old and very young)

Loved it. A clean City and no graffiti. Light years ahead of Melbourne for everything.

Great area with so much to see and do within walking distance from the hotel. Need to stay at least a week to take in some of the tours.

A great return stay, was lovely to enjoy the hotel for more than one night this time.

Comfortable, classic, welcoming and luxurious. Room service breakfast was lovely as were the swimming pool, sauna and steam room.

I’d forgotten how big that hill is to lug your suitcase up!

Arrived at 10pm and nowhere to get a drink both bars were closed even for residents A few issues with the room but we’re rectified the next day Restaurant was a total disappointment for evening meal and we ended up walking out

The view and the staff make this hotel special.

The Shangril-La is a great location for exploring the city. Our room was spacious with spectacular views of the harbor bridge and the Opera house. The staff are extremely helpful and responsive to your needs.

Our room was not serviced on the first day and on the third day we had been out all day and came back around 5pm to get changed for dinner and they only arrived at this time to service the room which was totally inconvenient timing.

Exceptional experience, wonderful staff and spectacular hotel. This is our fourth stay.

Exceptional customer experience throughout. We were celebrating a special occasion and were pampered and treated from the moment the concierge opened up our car door. Attentive and interested staff throughout our stay. Spacious rooms, fantastic size bathroom, very clean, comfortable and magnificent views.

The staff were friendly and very helpful, nothing was ever an issue. The view from our room was amazing and it was a great size room. The location was great, just a short walk to restaurants, the train and ferries.
