Beautiful building and great location in cbd.
No notice given that roadworks would limit access to hotel for arrival. 1 hour driving around trying to arrive because of Halloween celebrations.
Called reception 3 times when leaving for help with luggage (3am) no answer unfortunately. Battled on my own

Excellent shower and a comfortable bed (though the pillows were too soft). Clean room with a nice view of the clock tower. Excellent location on Martin Place. Staff were helpful. Great restoration and use of a beautiful heritage building, which was seamlessly integrated with the modern tower.
The most disappointing aspects were the food options. The room's coffee machine was a specialty one (could not use standard pods). They provided only three pods each day, and they were quite old, as the coffee inside had gone hard and produced little more than brown water. The Bar was tired, and the seats sagged. We were surprised that the food in the main restaurant (The Place) was more like a good pub meal than fine dining. The food arrived lukewarm, and given the Fullerton's reputation in Singapore, we were very disappointed that the satay was tasteless. The ketupat was just pressed soggy rice (not cooked in palm leaves), there were only 3 limp pieces of onion and cucumber, and the sauce was bland. Fitness facilities are also disappointing for a hotel of this standard.
