No frills but clean and comfortable with helpful staff at reception.
The air conditioning was noisy.

The location was fantastic, easy walk from the Porta Susa station and the Quadrilatero and old city. The room was big with a small balcony, windows that opened, big bathroom, mini-split air conditioning. We had two separate (each lockable) rooms that were off one entrance, very convenient for people traveling together. The room was surprisingly quiet, and there were great blackout curtains. Staff was very helpful and showed us to our rooms when we checked in.
At first it seemed odd: from the street (under the arches) you enter the opening for the interior courtyard of the building and take the stairs/elevator to the small reception room on the 2nd floor. The rooms were off the central core where the elevator goes up. It's an old building with some modern touches (furniture) and new bathrooms. It's just not like a typical hotel. But was "correct" in every sense.

Well located for Porta Susa train station and metro and buses for access to Porta Nuova station and city attractions. Discount voucher given for breakfast in cafe next door - not a large choice but quite adequate. Good sized room. Staff very helpful. Lovely old building in good repair - hotel reception located on 2nd floor (lift available).
Nothing. It was great.
