Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Die Aussicht vom Frühstücksraum auf Bad Gastein ist hervorragend. Das Personal ist ebenfalls sehr nett

Das Hotel Echo war leider das einzig Gute an diesem Besuch ansonsten hat mich Bad Gastein enttäuscht

Das Haus ist schon etwas betagt aber es war alles sauber, Personal sehr freundlich. Ich war auf einer Motorradtour und wollte Erinnerungen auffrischen. Ich war vor 30 Jahren mehrfach zur Kur in Bad Gastein.

Es ist schade aber für mich ist Bad Gastein ein"sterbener Ort". Ich vermute das im Winter mehr los ist aber Oktober ist einfach "tote Hose"!

Excellent!

Spectacular Mountain view. Comfortable and clean Location awesome. Hidden gem of a town. Breakfast very good. Easy parking. Nice waterfall view at base of road with short walk. Incredible mountain top views from Stubnerkogel peak short walk away to lift.

No USB outlets. Luckily we had brought our own ac adapters.

Cosy and friendly

This review has to start with the owner Henrikka who deserves at least 6 stars. She has lots of suggestions for great walks, places to visit and the best food in town. Nothing was too much trouble and she helped to send taxi details when we got caught in a storm whilst hiking. Thanks Henrikka for making us feel so at home. Breakfast was gorgeous; breads, cheeses, salad, butter, jam, cold meats and fruit. The hotel itself is old and full of character and kept sparkling clean, it’s really cosy. We booked two nights but extended to four. Cannot recommend Hotel Echo enough!

Our host was very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was delicious! The hotel is lovely, authentic Austrian charm. Beautiful views from the window, very near the waterfall. A good location, not far from the station.

Superb

The hotel is next to the Alpe-Adria radweg and this was important for us. We could park our bikes. The staff was very kind and helpful! The room was clean and big enough for two people. The breakfast was very good as well.

Although the room was very clean it wasn’t too modern. The furniture need renovation.

Great stay in Bad Gastein

The hotel is located right next to a waterfall which makes it a unique experience. The owner is really friendly and very helpful with advice regarding things to do in the area. The room was very clean, and it was cleaned on a daily basis. The breakfast was nice as well.

Whilst the hotel looks like it has gotten serious renovation in the past years, there is still work to be done, especially on the floors.

Very close to the train station, lovely staff, so tidy and I loved the miniature antique items in the hotel room. Gave it a very 70s vibe :) It was so close to the waterfalls which is amazing. Superb eating places and right next to the night life district.. a 5 minute walk away from the best part of town!

Photos presented the area as much bigger. I thought the common area is part of a larger apartment. In my experience, a bit more pricey than expected.

Perfect value for money, would come back!

Cozy place with beautiful views and tasty breakfast! Nice staff. Close to lifts and therms. it’s not too close for walking with baggage, but taxi cost only 10 euros.

Perfectly arranged and served breakfast platter! Friendly, welcoming, helpful, and engaged Staff. LOCATION: Hotel is 5 minutes FLAT WALKING on foot from Train Station, so perfect for checking in bags etc before tackling hands-free the endless ups and downs of Bad Gastein.

Great stay!!

We loved our stay in the Hotel Echo! It has great charme and the location directly next to the waterfall is amazing. Also the hotel owner is such a nice person! We can only recommend this place
