We really enjoyed our stay at Lindala! The room was clean, comfortable and great value, the staff were friendly and the location is perfect for commuting to the centre, the beach and the city of arts and sciences. Highly recommend š

Lindala is a beautiful little hotel that has everything you need for a seaside holiday, plus it is very well positioned for occasional trips to the center of Valencia (5 minute walk to the Metro station ''Maritimo'' where you take line 5 to the center). Cabanyal is a very cute neighborly area with a lot of tapas bars and cafes, and the beach is around 15-20 minute walk.
Aesthetics of the hotel are great, it is very clean, the room and bathroom are spacious. You also get a small fridge which was very helpful. Breakfast was VERY delicious, buffet style (I'm afraid i'm responsible for eating half of all the jamon they had during our stay, haha) though it may be a bit pricey (12 EUR per person per breakfast, coffee included).
Breakfast area includes a beautiful courtyard, too.
The staff were very kind, we know few dozen words in Spanish so the communication was mainly in Spanish since the staff speaks a bit limited English. And by our last day we've learned a lot more words and phrases! We've noticed some other tourists strictly holding on to English, to the point of not even using ''si', ''gracias'', ''por favor'' which are well known words in Spanish - don't be like it, fellow travelers, Spanish is a beautiful language and only a few dozen words get you by easily. And Spanish people seem very very happy if you show even a bit of effort!
Reception was very kind, I think it's open 24/7 but after midnight they close the doors, so when you come late feel free to knock and call out for someone to open the doors (this happened when we came back from the city at around 1am).
All in all, we loved Lindala very much, and if we ever come back to Valencia and Cabanyal, this is a place we will come back to!
One very small detail - no glasses in the bathroom. Would mean a lot.

While the location is undeniably great - close to the major metro lines and just a 15ā20 minute walk to the beach and port - the overall experience was underwhelming and disappointing.
The rooms are very clean and functional, but basic, lacking any character or charm. A few thoughtful additions like artwork, furnishings, or decorative touches would go a long way in making the space feel more inviting. Involving local artists could be a great way to enhance the atmosphere while connecting the hotel to the surrounding culture and community.
What really disappointed me was that for the first three nights of my four-night stay, both the bar and restaurant were closed. When I inquired, I was simply told to check the opening hours posted on the hotel door - something not mentioned on the website or during the booking process. I would highly recommend venturing out to local spots for lunch and dinner such as Casa MontaƱa and Anyora - both require a reservation.
Thereās so much potential here, but sadly, itās not being realised. With a bit more effort, this hotel could become a vibrant, fun, and social community hub - and a far more engaging and memorable place to stay. Staff were pleasant but not at all accommodating.
