The air conditioning didn't work. And since the windows couldn't be opened, it was unpleasant.The staff provided no information about this at check-in; instead, there was simply a running fan in the room, though it did little to fix the issue. The problem was therefore known, yet it was not communicated to me.
Poorly planned faucet—it hangs so far over the small sink that it gets in the way when washing your face.
Breakfast was primarily English-style—otherwise, there was rather limited choice. It tasted good, though.

Location is excellent, and the decor to the lobby is very unique
Unfortunately the room is very small, the smallest we’ve ever stayed in.
The room is very dated, headboard appearance damaged, a light not working, small crack in the bath and some on the flooring tiles.
All been mentioned to hotel team and a room upgrade for the next stay has been offered, but unfortunately for the price paid we felt it doesn’t reflect a 4 star, unsure if we’ll stay again or if we’ll just go for somewhere more reflective of the price and rating instead.
