Good location, close to the beach and to restaurants. Kind staff.
My window looked at an air shaft.. since i stayed only for one night and spent the day outside, it was ok. Unfortunately the room is not soundproof at all. It was right next to the elevator and during the night i could hear clearly when the neighbours arrived. But again, for one night stay it was ok.

Absolutely loved this hotel the staff very friendly and helpful so clean and tidy nice and modern as soon as you walked in a bar attached to it so was a added bonus had a drink there lovely atmosphere rooms nice big and modern beds so comfy air conditioning was brilliant bathroom big with nice shower everything was perfect so so close to beach shops etc Absolutely perfect stay thank you

On a positive note, the hotel allowed us to check in early, and the breakfast provided was decent. Its proximity to Arenal Beach and local transport options is a plus. Although it’s over an hour to central Palma, buses are nearby and easy to catch.
We recently stayed at Playa Sol Hotel in Mallorca and while the location was convenient, there were several significant downsides that impacted our experience.
First and foremost, the air conditioning situation was disappointing and misleading. Although advertised as having A/C, the hotel centrally controls the system and locks it at 26°C—even during the peak of summer in August. Despite our efforts to raise our concerns, the staff insisted that this was the standard setup for all rooms. In reality, it felt like having no air conditioning at all. On top of that, the A/C was turned off during the night without notice. We were woken up at 4 a.m. due to unbearable heat and humidity, only to find we had to call reception to have it turned back on. Opening windows wasn’t an option due to mosquitoes, which adds a serious health concern.
The walls are extremely thin—you can hear every conversation in the hallways, especially when other guests return from parties late at night. If you're a light sleeper, this could be a real issue.
Communication was another challenge. Most of the staff do not speak even basic English, which made resolving issues difficult. We were fortunate to interact with one or two team members who could help us effectively.
