Economy rooms are small but adequate. A little more decorating would add some ambiance. Breakfast was first class! The coffee is a legend! Bed was comfortable and the bathroom was well updated. The outdoor veranda along the river with a place to share wine and conversation was unbeatable.
Economy room in the dormer area required some luggage carrying upstairs. Area rug needs replacing. Needs a fan for warm weather.

Fantastic exotic grand hotel from a former 7 story sanitarium and wellness center. Exceptional wooded acreage and grounds. 5-6 flights of stairs at the back of the hotel take you directly to the entry gate at Rothenberg which is very convenient. Excellent breakfast buffet and coffees made to order.
West facing rooms are a little warm in the summer months as there is no air conditioning, but the rooms cooled off in late evening hours.

Staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. The halls of the hotel are stunning and have lots of history. The place is situated right on the door step of the old town which was great for easy access. Room was pleasant and clean.

Big rooms
Outdated, the bathrooms built inside de rooms are really small, nobody helps with the lugagge and there are too many stairs. Not easy to find where to park
