About this house rental
Nestled in Iowa, this lovely house for $460 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Our Eagle Lane home is 1.5 miles from the GTA Owners Club and just 15 minutes to downtown Galena. This home is NOT pet friendly. Located on almost 2 acres, high on a hilltop, this 5 bedroom 3.5 bath home features an extraordinary view. The sunsets are amazing and you can relax and watch from the front porch. Our spacious home features a large outdoor hot tub on the lower level patio, two gas fireplaces, a ping pong table and table top arcade game. The master bedroom with a Queen size bed and walk in closet also has a large master bath with stand up shower and whirlpool tub. The kitchen, dining, family and laundry room are also on the main level with a giant island to spread out and enjoy. The living room features a gas fireplace and a flat screen tv with Dish Network. The upstairs is where 3 large bedrooms (1 King and 2 Queens) are located that share a full bathroom with tub/shower combo. Upstairs there is a large room with a queen sofa sleeper and 40" flat screen Smart TV w/blu ray player right outside of the King bedroom. It's a great space to go and relax and spread out. The lower level is a great place to entertain and play. There is a professional ping pong table, 2 flat screen tvs, dry bar, glass table video game featuring more than 50 games (Pac Man, Galaga, Centipede, Frogger, etc) and comfy family room to enjoy a movie on the 55" Samsung Flat Screen TV. The outdoor area is large and boasts a fire pit with wood provided, outdoor hot tub and just mins away from walking trails, Galena Cellars Vineyard on Ford Rd and so much more! Guests do have access to the 2 car garage at this home. You will have access to the GTA Owners Club while staying with us. This home will provide you with 9 proximity cards. The indoor pool is open year-round and the outdoor pool is open Memorial Day through Labor Day. The club is an exclusive amenity that can be used by only Galena Territory property owners and their guests. The Owners' Club includes an indoor swimming pool, outdoor swimming pool w/slides, a kiddie pool, fitness room, game room, indoor/outdoor basketball courts, tennis courts, seasonal snack bar, free WiFi and outdoor playground. Don't forget to visit Lake Galena, The Shenandoah Riding Center and hiking trails throughout the 6,800-acre property. Disclaimer: You may not have enough cards for your entire group. Guest passes can be purchased for just $5 a day at the GTA admin office or pool entrance, staying with us grants you access, it may not be free. Please remember usage of the amenities is NEVER guaranteed. We do not discount or refund due their closure. When you book a home with us we will require 30% down, this is a payment not a deposit. The full balance is due 14 days prior to check in. If you cancel prior to the 14 days you will receive the first payment less a $35 cancellation fee. At the 14 day mark your stay will become non-refundable and dates cannot be adjusted. Your payments will automatically be processed to the card you place on file at the time of booking. Your rental agreement (sent after booking) will reflect the due dates and amounts. Please Note: You will be required to sign an electronic rental agreement at the time of booking, we ask this be signed and filed within 48 hours of receiving to guarantee your reservation. You must be 25 or older at the time of booking and present during the entire stay. Our cancellation policy is not flexible, please review carefully - we highly recommend travel insurance. Check in details are sent 3 days prior to your arrival to the email on file. This includes the home's address, the access code and other pertinent home/area information. Early check in is never guaranteed and cannot be considered until the night before or morning of your arrival. The check in details will cover this process.

Perfect amount of space for our group to spread out and gather together when we wanted to. The views are so gorgeous. We were a 10 minute drive or less to all the things we wanted to visit: vineyard/winery and downtown for shopping and dinner. Wonderful stay!

The view from the deck of the house was great. We saw an eagle. The location was good to get to Galena, the Owners Club, and The General. Wel expected more in these areas: the deck needed painting & 2 of the deck chairs had holes in them. The windows needed washing as well as the screens. There are 3 bedrooms on the second floor, but only 1 bathroom. This was not convenient for the 4 ladies who stayed upstairs. Overall we had a great stay. We love the area with its rolling hills and scenic roads.

We enjoyed a long family weekend at Eagle Lane. The house was great and provided plenty of room for all, and the large yard allowed us to play games, have a fire, and sit and visit. We also enjoyed the free passes to the pool. The views were beautiful and we enjoyed seeing some hot air balloons practicing for the hot air balloon event that was happening the following weekend.

This home had everything we needed and wanted, plus more. We had two families with four adults and six kids, and there was more than enough room for everyone to spread out. We all loved the ping pong table and arcade game, the kids loved their own hang out and play area in the upstairs TV room (and the youngest two loved the little toy room in the basement with a train set!), and personally I loved the gas fireplace in the basement that looked like a wood burning stove. It was so cozy! We loved the hot tub too, which was nice and hot and relaxing (although it's showing it's wear a bit - we couldn't get all the jets to work but maybe it was user error!)The best part about this house though, hands down, are the gorgeous views out every direction of the house. The photos don't do it justice. Both nights we sat on the front porch and watched picture perfect sunsets. During the day, the kids ran around in the big yard and we played catch with a football we brought.There are a couple minor ways the house is showing wear, which I'm sharing with the rental company, but nothing that impacted the quality of our stay. 100% would stay again. Thank you!

As our families are growing we need a bigger place to stay for Thanksgiving. This home was super spacious, offering comfortable quarters for all 4 families. The kids had a ball in the lower level with all the games. And so much fun, they would go in the hot tub then run around the yard to get cold and then back in the hot tub. The kitchen was very well stocked which is good to know because we wouldn't have had to bring so much stuff to prepare our Thanksgiving Dinner there. The whole house was immaculate! The fireplace was so cozy. The view was magnificent especially with the setting sun. The ladies had a fun shopping day in Galena while the guys all played football in the large yard. The price was not out of reach when split between our 4 families. We come to Galena for Thanksgiving every other year, and we hope to reserve this house again. Oops Maybe I should be saying it was awful, so that it increases our chance to reserve it again - ha ha. No, seriously it was just perfect.

Spacious, comfortable, large home away from Galena traffic! We loved full bathrooms on every floor, the fire pit, hot tub and patio to relax on! Playroom for kids was a nice touch and huge washer/dryer if needed! Great place for family to enjoy sometime together!

This house met all our needs (7 adults and 3 children), from the five bedrooms and three floors, to the large outdoors. The house had all the kitchenware we needed for cooking indoors and out. There was plenty of firewood for fires each evening. Being able to use the garage was an extra bonus and allowed us to store our bikes without worry. I didn't research enough to know the children could not easily ride bikes at the house. The roads are hilly and too many blind spots for children. There is a community park in town with a skate park they used with their scooters. We had an issue with the AC and the manager was available and sent someone that day. The hot tub was not hot and I did not contact anyone until the end. They would have fixed that if I had contacted earlier. We used the clubhouse pool everyday and indoor basketball court. We even enjoyed the local rodeo. Galena has a nice walk along the river and park to enjoy. If you have a large group, this house works well.
