The breakfast buffet was wonderful, so much choice, lovingly arranged and all very good. The hotel location near the Alsterwanderweg was perfect. The hotel dog is the most cuddly and lovable guest greeter ever.

This family run hotel is in an upscale suburb of Hamburg. The hotel is only 10 minutes by foot and 3 minutes by taxi from the nearest S-Bahn station. Very friendly owner and staff. Comfortable room. Lots of restaurants near to the hotel in the town of Poppenbuettell. 25 minute by S-Bahn to Hbf.
Has to run the shower for a few minutes for hot water to reach the tap. I guess it was a big converted family home so it takes time for hot water to reach the rooms.

WiFi was a bit unreliable in room, but manageable

Very quiet place, our room towards the garden, which was almost a park with beatiful old trees and statues.
Being there on a saturday, there was no reception after 13h. But a safe at the entrance with a key. Cats In the house!!
