Good location in Old Quarter of Hanoi

Personnel à l'écoute et serviable. Grande penderie dans la chambre. Propreté de l'hôtel et des chambres. L'hôtel est bien situé dans le vieux quartier. Nous avons effectué toutes nos visites à pieds.

L'hôtel est situé dans une rue extrêmement animée le soir, pleine de restaurants et en face d'une discothèque. Notre chambre était côté rue, et malgré un double vitrage, le bruit nous a empêché de dormir. (point positif, l'hôtel met à disposition des bouchons d'oreille).

Location is good on busy street in old quarter. You hear street noise but they offer ear plugs or use your own. Staff is really nice and helpful. Good breakfast!

The roof terrace and pool are not nice. Pool we found not clean enough to swim in and it felt very closed off. Rooms were a bit outdated but it was functioning.

Location is great as right in the centre of Hanoi. Can be noisy though that was to be expected. It was too cool for us to use the pool but it looked great. Room was really good, even got an upgrade on first stay there.

The location was perfect - in the heart of everything. The staff were excellent, Kim especially gave us a lot of help, booking transport, a Halong Bay cruise and onward hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the breakfast very good with a wide selection.

The pool was a bit too cold to try.

Centrally located and extremely helpful staff in suggesting food to try, booking transfers & sightseeing. By far one of the friendliest places we stayed in Vietnam.

The noise from the bars and Karaoke was loud at night but we were so tired it didn’t keep us awake for long.

It was a comfortable friendly place to come back to after the chaos outside. Comfy beds red hot showers and baths and a good breakfast selection. All the staff were great , so helpful and nice. Nothing was a problem to them. Also a mention to Kim in Reception area,such a sweet lady helped with our trip.

Service was excellent at all times. For example we called Ms Kim at 5-6am in the morning slightly panicked cause we weren't show whether the taxi was overcharging us and she not only picked up, she even spoke with the driver and got them to reduce the price to a reasonable one. Transport was arranged for many other situations including airport pick up. She helped us navigate a bit around the old quarter too. Their rooftop terrace was lovely and relaxing though we did not stay long because of the cold. And their beds were so comfortable we almost did not want to leave it. The location is right next to "beer street" and other good food and just a 10 min walk away from the lake and other attractions.

I kind of wished their nice swimming pool was heated, but then again I don't think they anticipated crazy tourist trying to swim in winter. Food selection was smaller than I had anticipated, but everything was delicious especially their porridge

Location was excellent as were the staff. The rooms we had were spacious and comfortable.

There is room for improvement with the quality of the breakfast offering.

The pictures of the food are misleading. There is no food. The staff was nice except for the guy who brings down a towel with a little make up on it to ask what it was. Really. The place is just rooms not really a hotel. More of a tourist booking place. It wasn’t that clean. But it was very close to train street.

Everything! We loved our stay at the hotel. Location was perfect, being in the heart of the Old Quarter and walking distance to a lot of attractions. Staff were always so friendly and accommodating, always acknowledged and greeted you with a good morning/afternoon when you go through reception. Kim was amazing, so.so helpful with everything. Helped us booked day tours of Halong Bay and Ninh Binh, and when we left each morning to explore Hanoi, she always provided suggestions on what to do, where to go and what to eat. She was always going above and beyond. Breakfast was great, always had a good selection of food. Our room was spacious, clean and comfy. My partner has back issues and found the mattress a little hard, and the staff went out of their way to get protectors on the bed to make it comfy for him. Will definitely book again if in Hanoi again and recommend this place!

A tad noisy as night as it is located next to Pub Street, but the noise quietened down about 11pm. I am a light sleeper but was still able to sleep with the noise. This is only a very minor issue for us. Everything was perfect otherwise.

Easy to walk everywhere. Loved the pool as it was indoors and that made it cooler than a lot of the outdoor pools that we’ve used in Vietnam. Perfect for cooling off from the summer heat. The staff were all lovely, especially Kim! Kim made us feel like we were at home. Helped organise tours and was excited to hear about out day when we got back to the hotel from being out and about. She helped make the experience really great.

The bathroom tiles could use extra cleaning in the shower space. There is a warning about noise and ear plugs provided however the weekend felt like we were sleeping inside a disco. The weeknight we were there was absolutely fine though.

Great location and good value. The staff is very friendly and helpful, trying to suit your needs. The pool is big enough for an afternoon cool off. You'll get food recommendations, everything within walking distance. We had to leave early in the morning and had breakfast before the official start

What a beaut medium sized hotel, right in the middle of the old town. Everything about our three night stay was fabulous, the staff, the hotel style and the breakfasts were amazing.

Lovely hotel with great staff. We stayed during a weekend so there was a lot of noise as the street outside is set out for eating. We were made aware of this and given the option to move but we enjoyed having the balcony to look out and see what was going on. We managed to sleep well so didn't find it too noisy. Great location with a lovely pool for cooling off in. Really friendly helpful staff & a good travel desk for booking trips Good breakfast with a range of options

The wifi wasn't great.

The breakfast was good. The pho beef soup was great. A nice variety. The rooftop area was nice and peaceful. Nice place to view the activity below.

We didn’t stay long due a very bad delay on our way to Hanoi from The Netherlands and a planned trip in Halong Bay straight after. So out stay was limited to one night only. But it was very comfortable after 48 hours of traveling. The breakfast was outstanding as well. But the best part was the contact with the staff upfront and everything they arranged for us. From Airport Pick-up, the boat trip in Halong Bay and even transport from the bay to our next stay. Everything was perfect and communication with the staff was easy and clear. Shame we could only stay so short in Hanoi and in the Hanoi Nostalgia Hotel.

Noise. But the staff help you with that from earplugs to room swaps. Mon to Thursday no noise

Great location in the Old Quarter. Really friendly staff, very helpful with whatever we needed. Nice buffet style breakfast. Rooms were comfortable and clean. The pool was very refreshing!

I loved how spacious the rooms where. I read reviews about hot water and noise so was expected this. The water is an easy fix you need to have the switch up like a light switch which is opposite to down for on. The water was plenty and the bathrooms huge. The pool was also really lovely. Location right where the action is so you can't complain at all. If you wanted a quiet hotel don't go book on beer street. It's that simple. We loved walking down the hustle and bustle of it all and also watching everything unfold on the balcony.

On the third night you could ask for a more quiet end of the hotel they do jave them just without balconies. By then you do need some sleep...which I did badly. They supply earplugs but tbh the pool view end of hotel you don't need them it was lovely and quiet and you can even see the authentic backstreets through your open bathroom window.

the bed was very very hard but after 8 nights we did get used to it. the street noise was very loud some nights until 4 am.

The staff at nostalgia are really friendly and helpful nothing is too much and they are only too happy to help. Rooms are fairly basic and on the whole very clean, great location in the old quarter close to the traditional Bia Hois and lots of different food and clothing shops.

The bathrooms in the hotel are functional but basic and could do with a little spruce up, but again on the whole not a big issue and again very clean. The breakfast is OK but not great, however have a plethora of affordable and good local options close by.

staff were so helpful. It’s a little noisy because of the location but… that’s okay because you are surrounded by restaurants, cafes and markets. Rooms were comfortable, pool was great and breakfast had everything we needed.
