On the day of your arrival, you will receive a code for the front door and your room. It was nice to be able to walk in and go straight to our room without needing to check in with anyone. It is close to public transit and seems like a safe location.

Hostel was clean, they probably really try to keep it nice, but the people there and the location just made me really uncomfortable and made me feel unsafe.

I felt very uncomfortable. People were 40-50+ and most of them living there, some of them really weird, making weird noises and it was not nice to eat at the same table as them or even sleep in the same room. The area has a lot of homeless people (probably not avoidable in the Hollywood area, only Santa Monica is better). One night a guy kept knocking the door & since there is no reception, people in the hostel had to deal with that. That was my first night here, so it was super scary. Cannot recommend for a solo traveller, I‘m sorry. The hostel really tried, but the people living there just make it unpleasant

People were very weird, living there with what seems like all their belongings. I just felt unsafe and just uncomfortable sleeping in the same room as them with no reception to keep you a bit safe. There was just a wool blanket but no linen in between, which just didn‘t feel clean (especially for me who has a dust allergy). I just cannot recommend this to others, especially as a female solo traveller

The location was nice as it was close to Koreatown and Metro station. Bus stops are also near the hotel.

some of the girls in the dorm seemed to have moved in. there stuff was everywhere and gave little to no space for us who are only passing through

the location is great- walking distance to Wilshire Blvd and all the great Korean restaurants there! the facilities are large and kept clean. Many bathrooms available.

My only complaint is the beds- the blanket is very thin. Also since you may stay in a room with 5 other guests, not everyone wants the ceiling light turned on at night. They should invest in small reading lights for each bed, so as not to bother other sleeping guests.

The home was nice and the people staying in my room were lovely. I felt safe and comfortable here. The location was good and it did not take much time for me to get around. I liked that they had a parking place-though small-where I could keep my car and rely on it being safe. Even though many people were staying there, it was a nice quiet environment to be in and work in.

I wish I had more room in the bathroom for putting things while using the shower. In the shower, there were no shelves to place my things, which was a minor frustration. There was also no hook or rod to place towels or anything while showering.

We appreciated big restrooms and the fact that it looked like a home. The position also was good, very safe.

Marijuana smell everywhere because people smoke in front of the door. It was a bit too much. There could have been a smoking area. Kitchen was dirty because of people not respectful but actually in the morning it was cleaned by staff very properly. It’s okay to stay there some nights but if you can, book the private room, many people just live there for long time so it’s nicer to stay in your own room.

I've stayed at many hostels even internationally and this is ONE of THE BEST i have ever stayed at! It is SO CLEAN! It's comfortable and seriously, it's one of the cleanest. I've cleaned hostels before and their cleanliness in the bathroom shower is on another level it was sparkling like the insides of the shower door was THAT clean - I was like what??? The cleaning lady was always smiling too it's just a very pleasant and welcoming atmosphere for me. The instructions are straighforward. No trouble with check in/out. Plus it's a very centralized area and they have parking and a full dining with a sink and vending machine! I felt safe as a female solo traveler on a tight budget. If you've been browsing for a while, BOOOOOK a room now and bring a friend even! you wont regret it!

very minor -I wish the bunk beds had curtains at least -because it was really cold during my stay in the morning, i would have liked for the shower to have warmer water faster. there is warm water it just takes about longer than 5 min

Excellent location, place is super clean, AC, WiFi, kitchen, hot water in showers working fine. This is a nice place to relax and chill after a long day in the city

The mattresses are not up to the rest of the place, for a 220 lbs person like me it feels a bit like you're sleeping directly over the wood supports, they could improve this to make the place even better

It was easy to stay there. Everyone respect your space, It's clean. I would like to comeback.

it might be better to stay in a womens only or mens only. the mixed rooms have weird people in them. people dropped their stuff on me while I was sleeping and took one of the beds we reserved so we had to share a little bed (which was fine)

this was my 1st stay at a hostel. it was a very good experience. place was exceptionally clean and even though i didn’t interact with any staff, i was very pleased with how communicative they were getting me checked in/ settled in.

The rooms and bathrooms are VERY clean, which was great. The area is generally safe (although quite dirty for someone not used to LA's low standards) and easily accessible by public transit (although LA transit is horrible).

The kitchen isn't super clean. Also it seems that some guests are living at the hostel. That is not a problem in itself but some of those guests give off somewhat sketchy vibes. I didn't feel unsafe as such but it did make me uncomfortable at times. Also, people smoke weed at the entrance - not really my favorite smell.

Very good location, relaxed atmosphere, very clean, uncomplicated, early check in was no problem - all was just perfect!!

No towel !! Locker very small ! The last guest leave everything in every locker.
