Closeness to the eixample district, shopping, casa batlo, restaurants etc.
I expected it be more roomier and I was expecting a separate room. For four adults and four suitcases it was cramped.

The location is unbeatable, very centrally located and within a very short walk of many metro lines and buses. The price was excellent for the size of apartment we booked. It was one of a few places that could accommodate a larger group. The air conditioning was strong but a little difficult to adjust.
The couch was completely covered in stains. The apartment felt overly minimalist, as in there is no decorations to warm up the place. The furniture looked great in the website photos but were in fact covered in scuff marks. The floor tiles were chipped in multiple spots. The hangers were covered in dust because they were not used for a while. The lighting in both bathrooms were quite dim and the shower stalls were small, the worst part was that the water didn't drain well so my feet were completely in standing water after less than 5 minutes. The kitchen lacked a sizable knife for cutting a large fruit (e.g., watermelon and pineapple).

I really appreciated the property’s central location, which made it easy and convenient to explore Barcelona. The room was clean, comfortable, and appeared to have been recently renovated, so I felt very at ease there. I also really liked the small balcony with a lovely view — it created a cozy and relaxing atmosphere.
Unfortunately, there were several issues that affected my experience.
First, right before checking out, the door to my room got jammed and I couldn’t open it for quite some time, which caused a lot of stress. It seemed like there might be a problem with the hinges or alignment.
The more serious issue was that I accidentally left my ring in the shower. I clearly remember placing it inside the shower while getting ready. As soon as I left the hotel and got into the taxi, I realized it and immediately sent a message through Booking, asking the property to keep it safe. I also asked a friend who lives in Barcelona to go to the hotel and pick it up. Unfortunately, the hotel never replied to my messages, and when my friend called and later arrived, he was told that nothing had been found. The ring was very valuable to me, and it was upsetting that there was no proper assistance or follow-up from the property.
Lastly, after making the booking, I started receiving suspicious messages from unknown (mostly Indian) numbers asking me to “confirm my reservation” through external links and websites, requesting my card details. I had already paid for the booking directly through Booking, so I found these messages concerning. They stated that no charges would be made, but it was unclear why I would need to re-enter card information if my stay had already been confirmed. I don’t know where those details could have been sourced from, but it was a very uncomfortable experience.
