Great location to walk around Reykjavík
Decor was a bit dated. Bathroom needs updating. Public areas were a bit dark.

Best hotel of our stay - very old school design, with dark and sumptuous decor and lots of interesting artwork throughout the hotel. Very friendly and helpful receptionist when we arrived, and the room was great - a suite with separate living and sleeping areas, together with a separate bathroom and shower room/toilet. No restaurant, but the hotel is just a few minutes walk from the centre so that was no problem. Really loved this hotel and would definitely stay again. Parking is limited so good to check in early-ish if you can.
The one-person lift was very old fashioned, but absolutely was in keeping with the general vibe of the hotel!

The staff was incredible --especially Gabriela at the front desk. She was most helpful with suggestions and directions. Great location. Approximately 4 blocks to Rainbow Street -- or a 7 minute walk. Hotel was very comfortable. The night we arrived there was a jazz trio playing. Most enjoyable.
We appreciated everything.

Bathroom, beds. Hot water was good, robs, tea coffee ok ..
You are hit with a mildew smell upon entering the hotel .. parking an issue , told to pay for street parking, not what we expected, Tv was worked , but limited to one station , remote not working properly, rug needs cleaned !
No bathroom exhaust fan, bedroom area had window open for ventilation.. Hotel has only single person use of elevator due to sensor issues - USB plugs not working well. This room was not good for two people.. limited electrical plugs for charging .. crabby desk limited help..telling me .. working to much .. ok
