Fantastic location, staff were very friendly, and breakfast was great.

Room was a bit plain, and bathroom and shower were quite small.

Breakfast: very good, enough, always somebody in the area available, fast cleaning table and refill for what was empty, good service there. Reception: friendly, helpfull, easy to connect with people. Hotel: you have also a good place to drink something, clean, enough space everywhere, good hotel location in centre of Reykjavik.

The bedrooms are a little average and shower and bathroom on small side. Could do with updating.

Room cleaning quite careless. In the 7 days I was there, I suspect that the bedroom floor was never washed, not even vacuumed. On one of those days I had to ask them to pick up the dirty towels we had left on the shower floor.

We had no complaints. The room was clean and the size was expected. They were able to honor our request to have our two rooms next to each other. Each of the staff that we met was very friendly and helpful. Marina at the front desk was especially helpful as she gave us a lot of information about trips and even booked most of them! I have seen some complaints about the breakfast area being crowded, but we had no problem. The front desk even took actions to help alleviate the problem by asking us each day when we expected to be having breakfast. The location was perfect for us. Everything we wanted to see in the city center was in walking distance as was the bus stop we needed for our excursion.

Location was even better than I had expected. Very close to all and everything we wanted to do and easily walkable. Decent sized rooms. Very clean and super helpful and amazing staff. Can not go wrong with this hotel. And as an added bonus its on top of an old viking settlement. Museum underneath to visit..
