Our host was very helpful, friendly and assisted us willingly with a couple of requests. We loved the outlook from the apartment to the little park across the street. The room was of a good size, with a small table and chairs and a couch; the shower was a good size with good water pressure and temperature.
The location isn't bad - we liked the fact it overlooked the park and there are some cafe/restaurant options within an easy walk, also a small supermarket only 50m away - but it does mean you have to walk up a reasonably steep hill each day to get to the most visited sites in Sultanahmet. Not a deal-breaker but just something to be aware of for those for whom this might be an issue.

We had a very pleasant stay. The hosts were kind, welcoming and very helpful throughout our visit. The location is excellent – close to the main sights, with much of Istanbul’s European side easily reachable on foot. There are good restaurants nearby, a child-friendly park with a playground, a shop right below the accommodation and a larger supermarket about a 300 m walk away.
The Wi-Fi worked well and the bathroom included useful essentials like soap, shampoo and shower gel.
One thing to note: if you choose the room with the balcony, it is on a higher floor, so this may be worth considering depending on your needs.
Overall, a comfortable and convenient place to stay with great hosts.

Great location, friendly helpful staff
Initial impression was that room was small and dingy. We stayed 3 nights and by the end appreciated the up market finishes and larger bathroom. So called garden view was laughable
