Overrated hotel.

Good staff, nice breakfast but no public transport in close vicinity, so Taxi or own vehicle are the only method to travel. Close to Nallur Kovil and Rio ice cream parlour.

Poor washroom, small in size, surprisingly non-tiled floor, shower cubicle with missing glass wall is disappointing.

Super für einen Aufenthalt in Jaffna.

Schöne Ausstattung der Hotelräumlichkeiten, sehr sauberer Pool, freundliches Personal, sehr gutes traditionelles Frühstück, Zimmer sehr sauber, Dusche mit super Wasserdruck und warmen Wasser.

Moskitonetz hat mir gefehlt. Blick in den Garten ist leider nicht möglich.

The staff are very polite, respectful and friendly The place is well presented, clean, comfortable and great value The location is ideal and serene

One of the plug points didn't work. It was not an issue since the others worked well Only one pillow per person. A second pillow would have been appreciated

Ein tolles Hotel im Norden das auch für längere Zeit (12 Nächte) gut buchbar ist. es hat uns sehr gut gefallen!

Zentrale, ruhige Lage. Sehr nettes, zuvorkommendes Personal. Sehr sauberere und gepflegter Pool.

Alles war gut! die Liegen am Pool sind renovierungsbedürftigt oder könnten ersetzt werden.

an overly priced venue due to location close to the Nallur temple.

location and staff were excellent

certain areas within rooms need immediate repairs or replacements: example: exhaust fan inside the toilet was not only dis functional but showed signs that it was left like that for many years.

Good, helpful and nice place to stay for those who are especially vegetarians

The staff was very nice and very helpful. The accommodation was good and had all the basic amenities. Even the morning breakfast was nice

Nice location near to tempel

Nice location near to the temple. Little but nice pool. Real friendly staff, prepared to help you with any question.

Exceptional

Beautiful hotel in the central area of Jaffna Town. Well maintained clean rooms and toilet. Rooms are big, spacious and comes with tea making facility. Super friendly, warm, respectful and helpful staff. The staff went the extra mile to not only meet the needs of the customers but also to make sure they have a pleasant stay. For example, we reached the hotel after 8pm and the kitchen was about to close. As we were so tired and hungry, the chef and staff stayed behind to cook what we requested for and waited patiently till we finished our meals. On another occasion, my friend had a bad bout of food poisoning at around 12pm and the staff at the reception was quick to come our aid. We were so touched by their care. Excellent service provided by all the staff. Strongly recommended. As the hotel is near Nallur temple, this hotel only provides vegetarian food. They provide good vegetarian food.

Missing Tamil in Jaffna Heritage 😌

We enjoyed the breakfast, cleaned bathroom, big and spacious room, comfy beds

The receptionist doesn’t know how to communicate in Tamil.

perfect location to explore and relax from this wonderful city and nice countryside

very nice hotel in a quiet, safe and proper neighbourhood in lovely Jaffna. the hosts and staff are fantastic. large clean rooms and a nice pool to relax or start into the day. breakfast is mega, really fantastic local food (fruits and vegetarian curry). staff extremely helpful to organize transportation (bus transfer to Anuradhapura) and sightseeing (tuk tuk tour to Jaffna islands).

Excellent Hotel Manager

Booked Jaffna Heritage Hotel for a short stay in Feb 2023. We had to check in during the very early hours of the day as we used public transport to reach Jaffna. Hotel Manager Wijekumara was very responsive and attentive from the moment we booked the hotel until we checked out. He made sure that everything(room/access and other amenities) was nicely arranged for us. We were quite surprised and very well impressed to see such wonderful service from the Manager and staff. Thank you so much Wije and hopefully, will be visiting in the future.

Very good

Very clean and modern facilites. The staff were lovely and accommodating, when we had to change our timings for our stay. Felt very safe too. Loved the ambience and decor too of the room.

The WiFi was awful, a booster is definitely needed in the rooms.

Excellent hotel in Jaffna – great staff and delicious food

Friendly, helpful staff. Fantastic breakfast (so tasty!). Great location, a few minutes' walk from the Nallur Kandaswamy Kovil. The owner kindly gave us an amazing recommendation for a better route to drive to Trimcomalee that was stunning (+ we saw wild elephants).

Great stay!

Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was cleaned everyday. Central location. Great vegetarian restaurant is near by. Pool is a bonus for kids. Large & quite room.

Exceptional

Jaffna Heritage hotel is a peaceful and relaxing place to stay. My room was very clean and comfortable with tea and coffee facilities, a tv with international channels and hot water shower facilities. The staff are incredibly generous and look after their guests in a respectful and welcoming manner. The hotel is also very secure, is in a convenient location short distance away from the town and only a very short walk to Nallur temple. I’ve been staying at the hotel over the years on solo and family trips and continue to be incredibly satisfied with my stays!

Very clean rooms, always kept to standards, staff was very friendly and helpful always there when needed anything. Good breakfast with a variety of options available. Overall , i strongly recommend to anyone Jaffna Heritage Hotel.

Recommended for a decent, hassle-free stay in the Jaffna city centre

Hotel was clean including rooms and bathrooms. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice.

Availability and quality of toiletries could be improved. A full-time concierge could help with vehicle parking and welcoming.
