Great location, walking distance to the Prado and other museums, really close to a taxi stand too. Lots of shops and bars in the area.
I loved the decor with matching cotton drapes and bedspread, and the simplicity of the furnishings. They wash their towels and hang them to dry which makes them scratchy. A little monastic but everything was in excellent condition and spotlessly clean.
One complaint, no hair dryer. I’m returning to stay there again in a few days and I’ll ask at the desk if they can provide one.

Location was good for exploring Madrid. Room was spotless.
Location: a bit too close to the action, especially on a Saturday night. Very noisy up to 2.30 a.m.
A refrigerator would be a good addition to the facilities.

Did not take at Hostal
If the waiting hall have some facility such as chairs. Also electronic operated four lock on each floor is better (not the main door on ground floor)
