Downtown Mammoth Lakes is under a mile east, which means dining and entertainment will be just a stone’s throw away! Yosemite National Park is a 39-mile drive away, but it’s totally worth the trip. The Mammoth Mountain is four and a half miles away and offers the chance to try skiing, snowboarding, cross country skiing, and more. Hidden Valley #2 is an easy walk to The Village and The Village Gondola! THINGS TO KNOW The internet in this area is unreliable. This home does not allow early check-in. Please remember to bring your pool towels, we only provide regular towels for your stay. While pots and pans are available for use, as a safety precaution, consumables such as oil, spices, and coffee are not provided. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles. This rental is located on floor 2. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Great spot for easy access to the ski lift! The property was very cute and my friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. 5 stars, would recommend to anyone!

I will start by saying that this property is quite clean, comfortable and for a short term rental, really well-stocked with cooking/kitchen items. However, it would be nice if the hosts kept the basic spices stocked (salt, pepper, tiny bottle of olive oil), but that’s a fairly minor quibble.
As for location, fantastic! It was a 10 minute walk to the Village gondola, so that makes a HUGE difference!
Now for the negative. Our check-in experience was VERY difficult. We had trouble finding our unit. The information we were provided simply listed a single number. When we arrived (at night, so low visibility) the buildings all had a letter followed by numbers. And none of them were the single digit we were given. So we called Vacasa (the prop mgrs). We were on hold for 30 mins. Meanwhile, I’m texting them too. Pretty sure AI was responding to me, because it had a very sympathetic tone while being utterly unhelpful. Finally spoke to the woman. Who ended up being dismissive and slightly rude. Also very unhelpful. We only found the unit by merely stumbling on it. Note to VACASA: PUT THE ENTIRE NUMBER ON THE INFO!!!
The other issue was the door lock code they provided us in that text/email was OFF by one digit! Thankfully, I mistakenly entered the correct code (my mild dyslexia), and only realized the error thru sheer luck!

Wonderful property to stay at. Listing is accurate. Great for small family, two couples or couple friends. The host is very prompt to respond if there are any questions. My boyfriend and I come to mammoth for snowboarding and loved being able to walk to the village or bus stop from this location. The place was very comfortable to stay in and we would definitely stay again.

Condo was as advertised. Would have liked the snow removed from the staircase & didn’t care for the pellet fireplace, spoiled having a gas or wood fireplace.

Our Hidden Valley Condo was home for us for five days as we explored and hiked in the Eastern Sierra. The condo was very comfortable for the three of us and it met and exceeded our expectations. Thank you for sharing this pleasant Mammoth hideaway with us! We’ll be back!

Fishing was great, got some sizable fish in lake Mary. A couple 3lb fish a 4 plus and a 5 pounder. The condo was comfortable, had a slight problem with downstairs restroom.

This Condo is in a great location! The Village, Gondola, and Mammoth Brewing are all walking distance. We found telhe Condo clean & nicely set up. The balcony was nice for enjoying our morning coffee.

The only downfall is this unit is three flights of stairs up. Carrying skiis etc is a pain. Otherwise very nice. Near the hot tub and can walk to the village and gondola easily. Good appointments and tvs in all rooms. Very comfortable. We would rent it again

Cute cabin vibes in the best location
Best vacation ever. Hot tub was across from the unit, short little walk. Mammoth Brewing Co was also a short walk! They had nice room to put all the snowboarding gear so it was out of the way. Amazing location, the village was super close as well. The unit was so cute and had everything we needed for a great time. Will definitely be back!

I did stress the stairs, but they are not standard stairs they are slightly lower so going up and down them weren't too bad.
For me the only thing I would of asked for was a couple more pillows. King size bed with 2 standard pillows kinda hard to chill and watch TV but other than that it was a great stay.
