An amazing hotel an amazing idea..........
The concept of it being an actual old prison, the way in which the cells are used for rooms, the decor and facilities all were amazing..
I really loved our stay here, the staff were very welcoming to both us and our pet dog, if we wished to dine in the restaurant there was no issue in providing us an annex in the dining room for us to eat with our pet, this also was the case for breakfast.
The room was excellent and the access into the external yard from our room was exactly what we needed to allow pooch a midnight toilet break without having to walk through the hotel.
Ideally placed in the center of Oxford where there were numerous bars and pubs for us to try, the shopping center is very good and added to the shopping available on the high street it certainly ticked the boxes for the wife!!!
I absolutely love this hotel and think that it is an amazing place, will be back definitely.

Taxi was booked by reception but didn’t arrive for thirty minutes which made us late for our function!

Restaurant staff, housekeeping and Nico (outside) were all excellent.

Beautiful building
Overpriced. Service from reception is not at an acceptable level for the cost. We were not even asked if we had any issues.
The rooms in the governor's house are 2-3m away from an extremely noisy beer garden. Screaming and music going until 1AM. I feel ripped off that we were not warned of this. The AC also turns off after a set duration.
