Check-in was easy and the room was nice, spacious but not massive. It was well equipped with tea/coffee facilities, a fridge and a safe. There was a good shower as well.
The breakfast was decent enough. A good choice for a continental breakfast.
The room was quite dark, even with the lights on. There was a little confusion about breakfast start times at the weekend. There was no restaurant for evening meals - apparently it closed a few months ago. The hotel website could do with being updated accordingly.

Lovely location, very close to IWM Duxford. Nice room, big bed with a good mattress, interesting decor. The staff were very warm, helpful and friendly, in particular Grace, Alex and Amy. Nice bathroom.
The bathroom door knob was broken and kept falling off. A cupboard door in the bedroom was broken and fell off. A welcome note said there would be water in the small fridge but there wasn't any. There was only 1 clothes hanger in a very big wardrobe. No bath towels were in the bedroom and I had to ask for them which wasn't an issue but ideally they should have been in the bathroom already. The breakfast choice was very limited. Fruit; apples, pears, bananas, no fresh berries or anything like that. A very limited vegetarian selection and one type of cheese was placed directly next to sausage meat in the same dish. Cereals, toast and jam. Apple juice, orange juice or water. The dining room chairs were worn and grubby. The whole place seemed a bit worn and old but the lovely staff made up for it.

Good location for Duxford air museum and comfortable room.
Restaurant being refurbished which wasn't clear until on site, so no food available. Local pubs (the alternative), not particularly inviting. Breakfast in the bar a bit unorganised.
