The incredible staff! Front office, bistro, luggage handling etc! And the spacious, comfortable stylish accommodation. As well as the general ambience and honouring of built heritage.

Fantastic hotel if you want to be right in the centre of historical Cambridge - walking distance to Fitzwilliam Museum, colleges, restaurants, shops, market and the punting.
Breakfast was excellent.
The window from our bedroom needed a blind as well as the curtains, to give a bit more privacy in the day time as it was overlooked by the science labs of a college

Oysters and french onion soup were good
Offered drinks on the menu that couldn’t fulfil, bar closed earlier than advertised on website, main lights in room didn’t work, plumbing extremely noisy
