Hard to beat the location. You step out and you are minutes from the Grand Bazaar, with Beyazıt, Sultanahmet and the tram all within an easy walk, so we barely needed transport for five days. The staff were welcoming and helpful from check-in onwards, quick to answer questions and point us towards places to eat. The room was comfortable and well kept, and breakfast was a proper spread, plenty to set you up before a long day of walking.
The air-conditioning was the weak point. It struggled to bring the room down to a comfortable temperature, which matters in early September Istanbul. That aside, nothing much to complain about.

Our stay was wonderful, and we had no problems at all. Everything was just perfect. Our room had a huge window that opened onto a small balcony with breathtaking views of the Mosque, and hearing the Adhan throughout the day was truly beautiful. I couldn’t fault the hotel—the location, views and breakfast were all excellent. The breakfast was good, although a little more variety would have made it even better.
The staff were not as welcoming or helpful as expected. They did not assist with taking the luggage up to the room, so we had to manage it ourselves. Also, the bathroom was missing a toothbrush tumbler.

The location
The 'spa' is just a pool that is too cold to be indoors and a sauna that only reaches 40°. The room is not very clean and there are no healthy options at breakfast other than fruit.
The photos do not do justice to the current state of the property.
