This has been my favourite hotel across our whole trip, and in fact for some time. It was rather timeless, classically knew what ‘it’ stood for and provided ordered service against a stunning backdrop. Sharp linen, shining glassware and gleaming cutlery, beautiful decor and rather grand approach.

nice breakfast
During the check in, the staff only spoke German with my German friend even though the booking was made by me. When I asked him about the swimming pool opening times, he actually answered in perfect English. Yet he continued to explain breakfast info in German to us afterwards, I felt not respected and welcomed.
