Before our arrival the hotel messaged asking if I would like an earlier check in, I replied saying that would be great as we had a very early start and flight. On arrival there were lots of signs on reception saying not to ask the staff for an early check in - the receptionist even took their break at the very time people would be arriving - which was very disappointing given the previous message. There was no restaurant just a small selection of snacks and drinks which was again disappointing. Would not return

It was close to down town without being in the hub of the noise and activity.
The breakfast was nice!
The room was very basic and small. I wish it had usb plug ins. It was fine for one night but I wouldn’t stay longer.

Location is convenient to be able to walk to many of Reykjavik’s sites. Decor and furnishings of lobby and rooms is pleasant and comfortable. Quiet rooms.

This hotel was situated minutes from the main shopping street in Reykjavik, and adjacent to a bus stop for tour pick-ups and airport drop-offs. The staff were extremely helpful at all times, spoke excellent English, and the desk was attended 24/7. The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast (although pricey like everything in Iceland) was superb. I would recommend this hotel for its cleanliness, friendly staff and wonderful breakfast.

The hotel was nice. The room is not spacious but it’s comfortable. The breakfast was good, with enough variety. The location is great, we could walk to all the main attractions of Reykjavik. Free parking was also much appreciated.
The staff is not particularly friendly (except for this one Portuguese employee, who was very nice to us). The bathroom is small, there’s barely enough room to move when you are in the shower and the water gets everywhere.

The beds were very comfy! the room had blackout curtains that were so needed coming off a red eye flight. the rooms were small but that was ok. There was parking on the side of the hotel which was great. Walking distance to the all attractions. the bathroom was ok but the shower area was super small but it did its purpose!!

The staff were very helpful. I would particularly thank Olga for her help in contacting Reykjavik Excursions bus company to track my bag that was left in one of their buses and helping me get my bag. Location was good.
