Convenient location near the two train stations and quite central, walking distance to every sites of interest.
Room was very quiet

Owners offered solution to keep our bags safe on last day.
Lots of channels on TV, iron in room kettle and tea.
The room was not cheap, almost £300 for two nights for two people. It simply was not the value ai expected for this price. Closer to a travel lodge than small family hotel.
Bathroom leak under the shower. Clearly not a new problem as carpet in bedroom already humid when we arrived. (We alerted the owner)
Bathroom looked a bit old, signs of damage.
Bed a little squeaky - it was fine honestly but mentioning it to explain the low rating
There is not always someone at desk, have their phone number at hand.
1 spoon for two people, 1 toilet roll per day (no extra in the cupboard), no shampoo and super cheap tiny shower gel - felt a bit cheap for a room that was not.
