I recently stayed at the Duke Street Boutique in Liverpool for a one-night getaway with my daughter. The convenient location was perfect, putting us within easy walking distance of top attractions, dining, and shopping. There is plenty of paid parking around—it isn't cheap, as expected for the city centre, but it was very convenient.
We loved the hotel’s internal design, the room size was ok but the fridge was cool! The staff were friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended for a comfortable and stylish city stay!

Close to centre of town for nigtlife. 20min walk to Albert Dock
Bed very comfy
Our room was directy on the main road so traffic noise. 5am, bin wagons could be clearly heard
Shower was really good but had to be careful it didnt overflow over the shower tray lip.

Location was good, as we were attending a concert at the Cathedral which was only a few minutes walk away. It was also close enough to the city centre (approx 15m walk) which was fine.
My main bugbear was the 100 pound security deposit which has to be paid on arrival - and I am still waiting to get it back over a week later! I paid it on arrival on Sept 11th and today is the 21st and i dont have it back yet. This is so unnecessary and would turn me off staying again.
The rooms are very small
I obviosuly have no issue paying for mini bar items, but they even charge for the bottled water. I've never experienced this before in any hotel I've stayed in.
The 'bar' at the reception was tiny. In fact it 'was' the reception, so I cannot imagine anyone actually sitting in there for a drink as it feels like you're in the receptionist's office. And she wasn't the friendliest!
