The host (Mathia) is really lovely. So warm and welcoming and full of advice about the city. The location of the apartment is excellent, on the quieter side of the river but still just a stonesthrow from Teatro Romano and Giardino Giusti and with plenty of good restaurants nearby. If you are going to attend the opera festival then Mathia even provides cushions for you to take with you to make the ancient stone seats more comfortable. I can't recommend this place highly enough, if you are visiting Verona, this is the place to stay.

L'accoglienza di Mathia, la cui gentilezza è rara a trovarsi. ed inoltre la raffinata eleganza di ogni dettaglio dell'appartamento, a partire dalle lampade, dai colori , dai quadri.. Tutto è costruito con cura secondo un canone di bellezza, funzionalità ed anche un pizzico di originale stravaganza (mi rifersco alle opere d'arte presenti ed al colore verde bosco della parete in cucina).

Mathia was an excellent host, and he made the stay incredibly welcoming and comfortable. He helped us with any request and even drove us to train station when we planned to go to Venice. We would always find small gifts like cookies and fruit which was a sweet touch. Besides amazing hospitality Mathia also shared the spots to visit around Verona.
Apartment is situated comfortably just 10 minutes walk away from the busy center, and has a lot of nice spots around.
Highly recommend to stay here, and we would definitely come back!
