It was a 2nd visit so relatively easy to find the breakfast room but new visitors may have had difficulty as pathways were closed off. Staff at breakfast were welcoming and the selection of food was good. The room was clean and tidy again but ensure you mention any personal accessibility issues at the booking stage as the halls of residence have stairs and no lifts. Accessible parking is available near to the halls. Install the Ring Go app on your phone before visiting as this will be needed for car parking on the campus and the internet signal is not the best. Access to the bus station on campus close to the halls is a huge bonus to get into Lancaster or further but there's little information on this unless you visit the Stagecoach website. Overall a good value option if you're staying on-route to another destination. It helped break a journey from London to Scotland. The bus 100 is handy to get to an excellent Greene King venue, Greaves Park, as well as The White Cross (recently featured in the The i newspaper as a good riverside eatery - in fact it's excellent).
Signage on the campus could be a lot better especially directing you to the breakfast area and the bus station. Mobile signal is variable, mainly 4G with the occasional 5G.

It was a large room, plenty of space.
We arrived at 7pm hoping to find something close by to eat but had to drive into town to find food.
We had booked a breakfast but they didn’t start serving till 7.30 and we had to start travelling before then so missed out.

Check-in was easy. Room clean and lots of tea, coffee and milk satchels.
Breakfast at the Marketplace was good.
We had no hand soap in the ensuite toilet, the dispenser was empty.
