Excellent location. at the center of historical place.
I still wonder what other guests really like about the breakfast. I read excellent comments and had big expectations. Maybe breakfast culture is poor in Bulgaria, It was barely more than poor one.. I would mostly call an ordinary one.

The hotel is in a prime location in the centre of the old quarter. The hotel is old & built on and into an ancient Roman wall that once encircled the city. The owner, Boris, has lovingly restored the building & it exudes old-world charm. The rooms are large and very comfortable.

The hotel has been lovingly developed with great attention to presenting a delightful hotel reflecting traditional Bulgarian design. It is located in the centre of the old city with the main attractions within easy walking distance. The hotel is built on & into an original Roman wall.

Location is absolutely perfect. Breakfast was huge and nice enough. The suites are cute and the views of Plovdiv breathtaking, host took good care of us.
Somethings missed, but overall it’s not terrible. The beds were not comfortable, the bathroom could have been cleaner, the host was accommodating the bar prices were not consistent and not being able to pay by card was unusual.
