Fantastic stay in an atmospheric period property in the old town - such a privilege to stay here. The staff were wonderf
The location of this period house was perfect- right in the middle of the old town with a short cut to walk to the bohemian district with the bars and restaurants.
Nothing - it was perfect.

This charming hotel was the perfect place to stay while we explored the city!
Our hosts were so great! They made my friend and I feel at home and provided a lot of info about the best places to visit in the city. It is located in old tow. within walking distance (or biking distance) of many attractions and shops and also close to a couple bus stops. The room was cute and comfortable and the breakfast was so filling. I highly recommend.
Be aware of the cobble stone roads in old town. It is very hilly.

Simply fabulous
This hotel is fabulous. Is situated in the old town of Plovdiv and provides free parking, which is a huge bonus in this area. Hristo (we think the owner) will send all details required to enter the old town by car. The hotel decor is fantastic, it is done from older times and yet very pleasing. On rrival we were met by the most helpful young lady who explained everything about the area, restaurants, shops places to see etc. She also advised that free wine, unlimited tea and coffee is available all day. Our bedroom(11) was exceptional. It is very big and tastefully designed and spotlessly clean. Ample breakfast is served fro 8am and sufficient to start your day. One other nice touch in the hotel was our names were on a welcome message on a large board in reception. If it were possible I would mark this hotel with more than 10 points. We will most cerainly return for a longer stay.
Nothing to write here.

Great hotel, weird attitude
Unfortunately I was left with an unpleasant aftertaste after this experience. Booked a place pretty late, at about 8pm, having specifically selected the hotel with check-in until midnight. To my surprise, i got a message from the owner that we will have a “self check in”, because nobody is there (errm… strange but ok). The owner was very nice and helpful communicating on messenger, though i’m not a big fan of receiving a blast of messages with multiple video explanations on “how to get there” (this gets exhausting when you basically live in hotels and airbnbs). We self-checked in into the lobby (sounds weird I know) finding a guest there, a cool guy telling us to join him and chat and telling us there’s a “free welcome wine”. We took our stuff to the room and got back, chatted with the guy drinking one bottle of wine (the plastic 0.33ml bottle) that was standing on the table (as referred to as “welcome drinks” by the guest) - unlike the glass fridge (a bar?;)) with drinks and price tags on them. Would have loved actually buying something better, but they had no cola zero or whiskey only sugar cola or that so called wine) and we were dead tired after 10 hours of driving to actually go somewhere (hence the wine). Next morning I wake up an hour earlier than usual only to catch the breakfast (i only book hotels with included breakfast) to realize that we DONT HAVE BREAKFAST INCLUDED. Wow. I specifically chose this place for included breakfast and was shocked. Only now I figured out the reason (see the attached image) - they list the first room with breakfast, but the breakfast disappears from the second room option. Which of course no one will ever notice, this is confusing and misguiding. Moreover, we check out and pay, and the lady rushes after us with question: “Did you take anything from the bar???!!!” We said we had one bottle from the welcome table which we were told was free… “No!!! It’s only free for people with breakfasts!! and you have to pay for it!!!

Traditional Bulgarian hospitality at its best - a memorable experience
Amazing little hotel in a spot-on location right in the old town. We received a fantastic welcome, it really felt like we were treated as guests of the family, with home-made lemonade and a coffee provided on arrival, a personal chat about what to see and do in Plovdiv, and some lovely wine and cheese provided later in the day, all at no extra cost. The breakfast was also delicious and included local produce and specialities, all explained in person. The room was quirky, comfortable and homely. If you want a real experience of authentic Bulgarian hospitality, look no further - I heartily recommend. Great value too.
