This is an amazing building from the1600s, but sympathetically transformed. Our room was lovely, oak beamed.... I loved the vaulted ceiling in the dining room, I had some very peaceful afternoons sat in the tiny courtyard garden. Positioned on a street leading up to the castle, it was perfect for sightseeing, and we even managed to find our way from the station to the hotel on the tram. Breakfast was great, and great care was taken of my allergies. A kettle was supplied on request, as I can't manage coffee machines. There were several restaurants around to try out, even a vegan one. The staff were friendly, helpful, lovely!

Very nice place, well located. The room had a lot of space, very romantic right under the roof. LARGE bed! Good breakfast bar. Attention for those with a lot of luggage: the hotel is up the hill towards Prague castle, so better take a cab if you have problems walking. On the other hand, being up makes the walk to the castle very short :-)
The location on the castle side of the river is much nicer than being downtown: the area has a cool atmosphere, and walking every day across Charles Bridge is a great experience. Take buses and trams - fast, frequent, the payment system is very easy, you can even get a day-pass with your credit card inside the tram!
For those who do rock climbing, the SmichOff climbing gym is amazing and very easy to reach by bus!

The location
Cleaning wasn’t very good. I ran out of shower gel for 2 days. Breakfast buffet is exactly the same every day.
