Breakfast was excellent. Double glazing in the room is good giving a quiet night sleep. Coffee in the Courtyard after returning from the evening meal was relaxing.
Only aspect which the Hotel can do nothing about is the stairs to the reception with no lift. However, the staff carried our bags to and from the Room to the on-street reception area.

I felt at home in a large, light filled room. The shady courtyard, salon and tea room were lovely spaces to be in. Staff were kind and very helpful. Very much appreciated the help with bags in getting up the steps on entry. I was pleased to be outside the busy city centre and to be able to retreat here at the end of the day.
My room did take a bit of finding through some narrow and somewhat faded corridors - it was fine after a couple of times getting lost.

the hotel was tired and and dreary, two flights of stairs to reach reception dragging heavy suitcases The photos do not reflect the hotel it was not at all like the images on Booking.com
Location, hotel was not like the photos.
Impossible to speak to anyone at Booking.com so I emailed however no one answered. I am looking for refund as I was mis-sold this hotel as not like the photos on Booking.com
