The hotel itself is very modern and comfortable, and the staff were incredibly friendly. I really enjoyed my stay.
There were also lots of thoughtful little touches from the staff — fresh fruit on arrival, a really convenient hairbrush, and a light snack. All these small details created a very warm and welcoming atmosphere.
It would be lovely to have the option to purchase some hotel merchandise as a little souvenir from the stay.

We stayed for two nights at the beginning of September, only a few months after Villa Dorothéa opened, and it was honestly one of our best hotel stays ever.
We have the feeling that this little gem will not remain a hidden secret for very long. It really is a wonderful place to stay in Lisbon. From the moment you arrive, you almost forget that you are in a busy city. There is a peaceful, almost island-like feeling to the place.
The welcome was warm and very personal, with flower water and a lovely, personalized check-in. As French speakers, we also particularly appreciated being able to communicate in French with most of the staff. Everyone was genuinely friendly.
The hotel itself is beautiful. There are flowers everywhere, lovely garden arrangements, and the gentle sound of the fountain in the background. The little streets between the houses also provide plenty of shade, which makes it very pleasant to sit outside even when it is warm. I especially enjoyed spending time on the terrace with a book and an Aperol Spritz. The rooftop bar is another lovely spot, with relaxed lounge music and a wonderful setting.
Our room was simply incredible. The furniture has been chosen with great taste, elegant, very good quality and, most importantly, comfortable. The colours and details work so well together and create a lovely feel in the room. And the bed deserves a special mention: we slept exceptionally well. The bathroom was also spacious and very well designed.
Breakfast was a real highlight. Everything we tried was delicious, and the cook is clearly a magician! We still don't quite understand how such wonderful creations come out of that relatively small kitchen, especially when you can see it through the glass doors.
A big thank you to the management, Marie and the whole team for making our stay so special.
Villa Dorothéa feels like a very special place, and we would happily recommend it to anyone visiting Lisbon.

We had a wonderful stay! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. We arrived a few hours before check-in to ask about parking and were welcomed with a cold glass of water and offered coffee while we waited. After only around 20 minutes, our room was ready, and we were even upgraded to a larger suite.
The room was clean and comfortable, with a large and comfortable bed. The breakfast was also delicious.
The only small improvement would be to provide a little more information about parking beforehand, as we were initially unsure about the rules. Overall, a fantastic experience!
