Main building which is a palace. Nice historical tiles and architecture. Friendly staff.

No mini-bar, had to ask for an electrical kettle as I had no hot water for three days in my room. Can smell the cheap in something pretending to be premium. Lots of stairs. An „okay” breakfast.

I absolutely loved my stay here, the place is so charming and clean. The best part was the staff though, I cannot wait to go back.

Lovely decor in the rooms and common area, and absolutely wonderful service. We were very well taken care of, the breakfast was delicious, the cocktails very well made. The staff should be commended - all went out of their way to make our stay very comfortable.

A nice gem in great location of Lisbon. Close to central spots as well as Belem. Taxi (Bolt./Uber) drives to/from Alfama on Friday night were about 5 eur:-) Staff were super helpful and friendly - reservations, advices for restaurants, parking payments and a small tour at hotel with stories about history if building. A small pool exposed to day sun was giving a needed refreshness before or after city explorations. Breakfast was all you need for healthy morning. Some words about parking. In October we found in proximity (50-300m) of hotel quite easy. You have to pay 1,2Eur/h but max for 4 hours. So hotel staff offered the help to pay coins during our absence what I could appreciate a lot.

The only minus were the old building noises. If someone walks in room above your room you hear creaking floor. But it was romantic too.

the location was superb in being away from the hustle and bustle of city centre and yet well connected by bus and trams to most attractions. the executive suite was good size and having a small swimming pool was great for the end of day dip. the staff were wonderful and offer excellent service.

We were initially put in a somewhat small room on the uppermost level that wasn’t fully equipped with mini-bar, working tv, enough space to hold our clothing for a week. thankfully we were able to amicably negotiate with the manager to be moved to a more suitable room that we were happy with.

Very nice hotel that has managed to take care of the old style in the building and made it very cozy. Love the small patios.

Our bed sofa for the kids was not good and here I would expect a hotel of this rating to have put real extra beds instead of a sofa bed that folds together when you lay in it.

After our arrival, receptionist asked my credit card and took it to make the copy of it. I was so shocked from the request and thought that they may be afraid that we won´t cover other costs. I felt humiliated but what is worse, after our return there were several attempts to use my credit card for internet shopping from Portugal!!! Never again! It might be really nice and employees very polite, but you can´t trust them!

staff was remarkable, helpful and kind, really doing their best considering they’re understaffed. The place is cute with an authentic feel.

The photos of the pool area are misleading. no palm tree there, no nice deck. Instead there is fake grass all around, which is very unpleasant. The pool water is so terrible, eyes and skin left itchy, burning. No téléphone in the room, no tap for the ceiling hit water, no coffee/tea in the room. breakfast was average. definitely NOT a 5* hotel. very disappointed.
