Breakfast was ok, fried eggs like rubber.
No evening meal at weekends only sandwiches nothing hot. Very poor service if you wanted food or drinks when there were large coach parties in. Not enough staff to cope so very slow.

Nice hotel in a quiet location with natural surroundings. The views are lovely. Overall, a good stay.
The big downside was breakfast - very basic, not much choice, just one type of fresh fruit (which quickly ran out and was not replenished), and not even one vegetable.
