Perfect location towards citycentre to explore the town. Good restaurant (1634) in the cellar.
Very old well restored building with very nice rooms.

Fantastic hotel in a lovely location. The rooms are gorgeous and comfortable and the staff are fantastic. The restaurant/bar is good value for money and is comfortable and stylish. We loved our stay and would definitely go back.

- close to centre of the city and located on the canal, close to lots of restaurants and stores
- comfortable bed
-friendly and helpful staff (they bright a fan and portable AC unit)
- the AC didn’t work in our room and staff were not able to reset the settings
- the mini fridge was broken and didn’t cool anything
- there was no safe as advertised
- the windows were old and did not open in the bathroom
- no parking on site, but public parkade was close by that offered a discount for the hotel
- as there were numerous events happening in Groningen the weekend we stayed, the price was quite high compared to other places we stayed throughout Europe
